Characters: Jayne Dough, Marietta Edgecombe, Hermione Granger & Pandora
Setting: Marietta's flat & Pandora's secret location, 17 November 2003, 5:58pm
Rating: R is for rancid torture
Summary: Hermione Granger is finally getting what she deserves.

Marietta could not believe her luck. Zacharias Smith was beginning to be more trouble than he was worth. She was considering getting rid of the fake child sooner than anticipated just so she could get him out of her hair because he always showed up at the most inopportune times. She was quite lucky that she was able to shove him out of the Floo when she did because it was now only minutes to six o'clock and Pandora was due to arrive at the flat to pick up Granger.

Though Marietta had not yet revealed her identity to the bint, it was finally time to show her just who she was and what she was in store for this evening. She had thrown a few scraps of bread in the broom cupboard for the girl to eat before going to work that morning, and given her some water to drink because she didn't want her to pass out before Pandora arrived. She needed to at least be in general good health to be tortured this evening - and oh was Marietta going to enjoy it.

And now it was time. She opened the cupboard, where the girl was silenced and still in a body bind, now also tied in ropes as well just for extra precaution. She smirked widely as the light fell into the dark cupboard and revealed herself to the girl. "Hello Granger. Are you ready to have some fun?"

It was 6:00 pm, and Pandora bristled in excitement in the back of Jayne's mind. Jayne was less wary than usual, having been confused over the last two days by wonderful feelings at the worst things. Pandora had offered her to keep control, and only to take over should she prove unable to do what was required.

She hoped that wouldn't be necessary.

She Apparated in the middle of the flat and took a moment to look around. Rather normal looking place, and there, to the side, was Edgecombe standing before an open door.

"Are you ready?" she asked as authoritatively as she could manage. She didn't want the girl to realize who was in charge, and think she could walk all over her. "Who have you chosen for me?"

Marietta looked over as the pop! resounded through her flat and saw Pandora's figure. "My Lady," she said, bowing a bit and stepping aside so that she could see inside the cupboard as well. "We're ready when you are."

Smiling, she gestured toward the girl in the cupboard. "This is Hermione Granger, an old friend of mine," she said with a sneer. "She was the witch who spelled the parchment that gave me my scars." She didn't gesture to her face because there really wasn't any need; Pandora had already been aware; most people were.

She nodded to acknowledge the gesture. Immediately, she identified the name of Hermione Granger.

"This explains why you didn't show up for work today, Hermione," she said as she approached the closet and looked down at the trussed-up girl. "Did Marietta mention to you that I work in the Department of Mysteries? Quite interesting that you just got transferred there. Timely, I think. What do you say, Marietta?"

Marietta's eyes went wide with surprise. "Did she really? I had no idea she'd just transferred departments. Honestly, Granger, your work ethic leaves something to be desired, it seems." She smirked merrily, rather enjoying the fact that she had made the bint miss her first day at her new job. It was quite nice, actually.

However, the mention of Granger working in the same department meant that this must be Jayne and not Pandora with her right now. Didn't Pandora usually refer to Jayne as - well, Jayne? Was Jayne going to be doing the torturing instead of Pandora? Marietta knew better than to say anything about it now, but she found the whole thing a bit odd. "I suppose we should give her her day's worth then. She did lose an entire day for it, after all. She deserves compensation for that. What do you think, Granger?" Marietta raised her wand and lifted the silencing spell again, so the girl could respond.

Hermione stared at the new arrival, fairly certain this was the woman Ron had come up against in Penny's apartment. He hadn't given her a detailed description, but she did match the basic one she'd gotten out of him. And Marietta was working with her? That didn't bode well for Hermione, she knew Marietta hated her for what happened in their fifth year, but it had been her own fault, snitching on the group when Hermione had made it very clear that was not an option. She had a hard time feeling sorry for her when she had decided to side with Umbridge, of all people.

Still, if this was the woman that was killing all those people, then Hermione was really scared now. There was a good chance she wouldn't survive this encounter. Ron had gotten away because he'd taken her by surprise, and because he hadn't had a nightmare. And while Hermione didn't have a nightmare either, it seemed pretty obvious that she was being prepared for a preplanned night of entertainment, and she could only guess what that meant. It wouldn't end well for her, that was the bottom line. But the last thing she wanted to do was give them the satisfaction of being scared, and she would fight, for Ron, she would fight to get back to him, so she wouldn't leave him alone in this crappy world.

When the silencing charm was lifted, she was ready. "You are completely incapable of doing anything on your own, aren't you Marietta? First you had to get Umbridge to help you, now this woman. You really are disappointing, useless, and ugly with those scars on your face. Pity." Hermione wasn't holding back. She knew there was no way out of what they had in store for her, not while she was in a full body bind at least, so she might as well take a few shots while she was at it, because begging wouldn't get her anywhere with Marietta, and if that was Pandora, she had a feeling it wouldn't help her there either. But Pandora at least might respect some venom and not kill her.

Jayne couldn't help a little surprise not just at the venom but the obvious history between the two young women. She smiled at the comment about the scars. "If you like those, you should have seen the ones we gave her." She felt another push at her mind, as if Pandora was reminding her not to get too close to the victim. "Or the ones I imagine you'll have after this is done."

She waved Edgecombe over and slipped a hand on Granger's shoulder. "Come, the three of us are going someplace more private. I won't risk another escape." The moment Marietta came close enough, Jayne intended to apparate them away.

Marietta knew that this was not Pandora now, considering what had just been said. She had a feeling that Jayne was still bitter about the way Marietta spoke to her and all things considered, it wasn't like Marietta liked Jayne all that much either. She only put up with her because Pandora was there. But why did Pandora have her out anyhow? Jayne was such a sop and now she was ragging on Marietta, who had been nothing but helpful so far. What a bint.

And what was this about escaping? She'd let someone escape then? Was it Jayne's fault? Probably. She was probably right useless and if it wasn't for her body, she wouldn't be of any use to anyone. Marietta moved forward and held her hand out for Jayne to take, making sure she did not look repulsed as she did. She hoped that Pandora would show herself at some point tonight or this was going to be a very uneventful night for Marietta. It was Pandora who had all the power, not Jayne.

Hermione couldn't believe what was happening, they were aparating to some other place? A place that most likely would be a hell of a lot harder to get out of, especially when she said someone else had escaped. That meant that whoever this woman was, she had no doubt made sure escape wasn't an option.

"Where are you taking me?" Hermione demanded as Marietta moved towards them so they could leave. "There are people who will be looking for me, I'm sure they know I'm missing by now." She only hoped that she sounded convincing. She knew there were people who would notice she was gone, but considering how bad things had been lately, other than people noticing she was not there for her first day, she was worried Ron might not have heard yet because he'd been working so hard.

Jayne took Marietta's hand, however reluctantly, and Apparated them to where Pandora had arranged for them to have their fun. It was in a Muggle neighbourhood, in an abandoned factory in an area that was rarely frequented. Jayne and Pandora had already put up sufficient spells to ensure that only they and those they took with them could come and go.

She let go of Marietta's hand as quickly as possible once they arrived, and turned to look at Granger. "Neither of you can get in or out without my assistance. No sounds from within can be heard outside." She turned again to face Edgecombe. "Now, it's your turn to show us what you can do. There will be no killing, but make it entertaining."

She walked to where a chair had been placed by the nearest wall and sat down, folding her arms over her chest, and waiting for their next move.

Marietta had waited a long time for this, truthfully. Granger had left her with a lot of pent up aggression that she had wanted to return the favour for. But how best to start the party? She had Jayne watching which she didn't care so much about but Pandora was still there, even if she wasn't the one talking, so she had to do her best. It was good that it was Granger, then, because there was plenty that Marietta wanted to do to her to make her feel at home here in this dingy place.

She pulled out her wand and loomed over the girl who was on the floor, still in a body bind. She didn't want to leave her in that because she couldn't writhe in any pain, so Marietta removed that spell, but kept the ropes on her so she was still secured. "Y'know, Granger, I always wanted to give you something in return for what you gave me those years ago. Something similar, but then I thought that would just be too easy for you. You needed something much more interesting. But what?" she asked rhetorically, and brought her wand down in a slashing hex across the girl's arm.

"You're just so brilliant, aren't you? What would be the perfect payback for a little bint like Granger?" Marietta brought her wand down again across the girl's other arm this time, still circling around her body as she spoke. "Would you like give any suggestions to the class, Granger?" Marietta asked her and leaned down a bit pretending to listen to her.

Hermione was relieved to feel the binding spell finally life, her muscles were sore from being held so long in the same position. There were still the ropes to contend with, but that was easier to get out of. Still, the fact that she was being handed over to Marietta didn't make her happy. Though it could be a good thing, she doubted Marietta was anywhere near capable of pulling off some of the things the other woman had done. Small blessings.

That didn't help her feel better though when the slashing spell hit her arm and she was suddenly bleeding. She let out a pain filled scream in response, and fought back the tears in her eyes. This was uncomfortably like when Belletrix had tortured her when they had been on the run 7th year. Still, Marietta was giving her a chance to speak, she wanted to make sure she placed her words well, and since this other woman didn't seem all too fond of her, she felt her words would be better if aimed at her. She looked past Marietta, blatantly ignoring her, and towards the other woman. "You might want to watch this one, she's not very good at being loyal. She'll probably turn on you soon, if she thinks the tides are shifting." She looked back at the red head then, hatred burning in her eyes. "But then maybe she has some secret spell on you too, and chances are it will be worse than mine was. I can't wait to see what gets carved into your face next." This wasn't like her at all, but she figured her usual self wouldn't be useful in this situation. She wasn't proud of it, and she knew it would cost her in more pain, but she wasn't going to go down without a fight either, and if she was physically stuck, her words were all she had to fight with.

Jayne couldn't help a smile at the girl's comment about words carved on Marietta's face, remembering fondly the spell Pandora had cast on her. It was just such a shame that she hadn't the chance to see it with her own eyes.

"Miss Edgecombe knows quite well that the penalty for betraying me would be far worse than mere words on skin." In fact, Jayne almost hoped it would happen, if only so that she could beg Pandora to let her do the punishing.

"But Marietta, are you really going to let her talk to you like that? She isn't afraid of you at all."

Marietta couldn't believe that Granger had the nerve to talk to Jayne, trying to undermine her in front of this woman. Not to mention, she had no idea who that actually was - it wasn't even Pandora in control just then. It was a gutsy move for her to try, but it would cost her.

"Oh on the contrary, Jayne," Marietta replied in a sickeningly sweet voice, "she's quite scared, she just thinks that she will somehow be able to use her cleverness to weasel her way out of this. Unfortunately for you, Granger," Marietta said and lowered her wand to point at Hermione's ankle which she twisted easily at the wrong angle, breaking bone, "your pathetic attempts at mind tricks won't be working tonight," she finished with a smile, twisting a finger back the wrong way as well.

Hermione really hoped that she might be able to win over the mystery woman, but her last words told her it was a lost cause. She didn't want her to egg Marietta on, but she wasn't sure why she had expected anything else, since she hadn't seemed the least surprised to see that Marietta had someone tied up in her home.

Hermione let out an ear shattering scream of pain when her ankle was broken, and the broken finger wasn't quite as bad since she was distracted still by the pain in her leg. It throbbed in such a way that made her feel sick, and she moaned, closing her eyes as a few tears escaped. She didn't know what her way out of this was, she was starting to think there may not be a way out.

As the girl screamed, Jayne began wincing... but it was soon soothed by a gentling feeling that smoothed into great pleasure. A part of her wanted to fight it, but it was no use. Pandora was intent on teaching her to take pleasure in another person's pain - her own wishes had no importance in the matter.

"It is for the best, my dear Jayne. The quicker you learn to enjoy my 'hobbies', the easier it will be to live together as one."

Jayne didn't even bother nodding anymore. There was no consent to give, as she had no choice. "Again," she finally said aloud.
