Who: Justin Finch-Fletchley and Theodore Nott.
What: Just another day at Nature's Garden.
When: November 4, 2003; 10:00 AM.
Where: Nature's Garden, Diagon Alley.
Rating: It's likely not going to be very worksafe.

Last night was terrible, there wasn't any other way to put it really. Upon startling awake, Theodore took the last of his Dreamless Sleep Draught which had in turn knocked him out until the morning. When he had awoken for the day he had determined that the best plan was to at the very least maintain and continue to grow the ingredients of such a potion...just as it was probably the best way to contain the costs of a potion for every other night. He needed some of the ingredients for work anyways, so he was being rather sensible.

Theodore needed more fertilizer for that and the garden around Mynydd House. It was something of a tribute to how the way things were, or at least what he really remembered of it since it was so long ago. In any case, the garden would make for a good distraction later in the day as he didn't have work lined up. He walked up an aisle looking at various fertilizers.

Justin nodded. "He didn't go into overmuch detail - and to be honest, I was kind of quick to chalk it off as nothing but a bad dream - but yeah, he did."

He reached out his spare hand and touched Theodore's chin, turning his face so that their eyes met. "If you want, I can give him your name. He's a Hit-Wizard, so he's a reliable sort, and can keep a secret. It might help to talk with someone who's going through the same thing."

The fingers moved from chin to forehead, brushing away a stray lock of hair before running down Theodore's temple in a comforting caress. "It's kind of spooky, you know? But... you should talk to him. I won't tell him unless you say I can give him your name, though."

Just as he wouldn't give Ernie's name unless his best mate said he could.

"Quite spooky." Theodore took a minute to consider the offer, breaking eye contact for a moment so that he could think. He barely knew whether he wanted to speak of it again, really. It was almost the same as reliving it, and he had already done so enough already.

"I think I'll be alright," he said after considering it. "I don't think I am interested in talking about it again. But if you do run into him, feel free to mention it."

Justin nodded, understanding the wish to keep such things to one-self, yet still thinking Theodore should speak to someone. He would definitely make a point to mention it to Ernie.

"Then let's not talk about it anymore," he offered. He moved in to kiss Theodore again, softer and gentler than before. With the kiss he questioned interest in something more, and offered simple comfort either way.

Theodore felt himself get drawn into a kiss. What better anaesthetic is there? He still felt as if there was a stone in the pit of his stomach, but it was only for now. Distractions did help. He moved his hand to caress Justin's jaw, and shifted over slightly to deepen the kiss.

A good shag wasn't going to solve the problem, but it wasn't going to make things worse. He was fairly sure that his reasoning was at least somewhat reasonable.
