*after quite a number of weeks spent between Gondolin, Nevrast and Thargelion, returns to Gondolin on something of a fact-finding mission (well, it makes a change from redistribution of goods)*
*has a leisurely morning, culminating in a couple of espressos in a coffee shop right in the centre of a rather upmarket shopping street* *is dressed for the occasion, in a smart, well-tailored suit*
*finally, crosses the street and window-shops for a while before going into a very classy-looking jewelry shop* |

*Has spent the last couple of weeks drifting around Orë, at Manwë's behest, observing the aftermath of Vána's "project."*
*Was under strict orders just to listen and report back (Don't interfere, let them find their own way) but does so love interfering, or at least giving the odd hint, especially when they're all so sad.*
*Watched the Noldorin assistance with a great deal of pride and with a sense of vindication; knew they could put aside their differences and work together, even if it does take a crisis to make that happen.*
*Followed the Gondolin contingent back home to observe the knock-on effects (if any).*
*Wanders towards a pub, listening to the chatter of the fountains, then decides to add some rain into the mix (What? Downpours cheer him up).* |

*following a leisurely Erumas, spent in Vinyamar, with very little done by way of work (just the merest bit of rum-running and the removal of some goods here and there)*
*bids his parents goodbye (and his mother gives him a packed lunch, d'awww) and makes his way to Gondolin* Eru, it's been a while.
*checks into a boutique hotel in town and, after lunch, ventures into the city, to see how much or little it has changed since Arda (the fact that it's not just been razed to the ground helps with the first impression, certainly)* |

*having ensure that all of his above-board dealings are remaining above-board and afloat, makes his way to the Cape of Balar to carry out a business deal (even if the other party is unaware that there is a business deal to be made)*
*ambles into a rather hokey coffee shop to catch the last sitting for breakfast and finds a booth at the back, near the kitchen*
*idles over the menu until he can catch the eye of the blonde waitress, who looks far too old for this kind of job (not that she doesn't look good for age but still!)* |
