*one morning, before the 6am drug round, leaves the room and travels, at speed, to Ilmarin*
*waits outside Varda's office, faintly perturbed that there's no sign of any staff until he remembers that it's 6am* |

*arrives home at lunchtime, after a morning's paperwork* *goes straight into the bedroom to see her son*
How's my boy? Did you have a good day? *lifts him out of his cot carefully and cradles him against her* Mummy had an interesting day because an old friend called in and asked if I'd had my baby yet. Do I look fat, Arandur, do you think that's it?
*walks back out into the living room* |

*pauses in his travels to take shelter under a tree somewhere? familiar (all the world's become familiar now he's learning how it works)*
*closes his eyes and forces himself to relax as he reaches out for that same brief reassurance, drifting into a meditative calm so deep he quickly forgets how long he's been there* |
