*at a minute past midday, receives a summons from the King of Gondolin*
*but it's so early*
*takes his time getting ready [which includes: coffee, showering, dressing, breakfast, scanning the dailies, asking his gardener to pick some of the prettiest flowers from the rose garden*
*makes his way to the Palace and gives the flowers (now wrapped in a very nice golden ribbon) to one of the servants to give to the Princess (as a Welcome home to Gondolin sort of present?)*
*waits outside Turgon's office, with his head in his hands as his hangover returns full force* |

*cheerfully greets the driver who's met her and Ecthelion at the train station*
*once in the car, rolls the window all the way down so she can feel the fresh air on her face and see all the familiar sights as they ride to the Palace* *has really, really missed this* |
