Hello hello and a most exciting greetings to all!

We are super thrilled and happy to have you all here in the game with us. As you all know, the game kicks off tomorrow, and we'll be officially kicking it off with a bang! (Specifically, the bang that winds up with Xavier kicking the bucket.)

The first big gamewide post goes up tomorrow morning (Feb 12th), and and we encourage reactions and participation from all. It's a dramatic, world-changing event—so gigantic that it's the basis for the entire game!

Because a lot of you are playing heroes and do-gooders, we did want to address the crime part of Xavier's assassination. Feel free to have characters try and figure out what happened if that would be their in-character response to the tragic event of his death, but through the magical power of mod-ship we wanted to let you OOCly know that no pertinent clues will be made available at the start of game. (No turning on Sherlock-brain and solving the mystery on day one.)

We do know what happened, and we'll be using that knowledge to give color to future in-game events. (Trust us, it's going to be awesome.)

With the game starting close to when normal activity checks would occur (on the 15th), we decided to make this first activity period extra long (running from the 12th to 29th).

And that's all the notes we wanted to make you aware of. Once again, we wanted to say how truly, deeply excited we are to have you all here. We think this is going to be a really special, fun game, and a lot of that confidence comes from looking around at the caliber of players already in the roster. You guys rock!
