The End (For Now)
To All Our Fantastic Players:
Marissa and Chrissie here with a very important message. Effective today, we will be closing the game. We understand that this announcement is rather sudden, but it's something we've gone back and forth on over the past few weeks.
This past spring was a rough one for everyone. There were a number of player hiatuses, and both of us mods found ourselves overwhelmed by stuff happening in our offline lives. We started to lose players and characters, and bit by bit, the game has ground to a screeching halt.
In a perfect world, we would work to mega-advertise, overhaul or reboot the game. We have had fun with the concept, and our enthusiasm for the action and creativity that players have brought to the game is immense. However, it's becoming clear that the real life set backs we had in the past few months have worn us out, and we don't want to drag you guys through a gamewide shift that we aren't totally confident we can execute on.
We apologize sincerely for the lack of follow through on our part recently and the inconvenience to those enjoying the gameplay as we close the game. It was a tough decision to make, but we believe that for now it is the right one. We are hopeful that in the future there'll be a chance to give this concept another go, and if that day ever arrives, we hope you will come along for the ride (because you are all awesome!)
