So, I miss us. That's the long and the short of it. This means that I'm going to give us a kick again.

Time will pass. Chatacters who were played will not be released unless their players say so. New pantheons will becone possible.

And of course the drama will continue.

We were lacking healers, and this one kind of scruffed me and told me to let her help comma dammit.

So here is Akeso, daughter to Asklepios, granddaughter to Apollo, and great-great-granddaughter to Erato (Erato's granddaughter was Asklepios's mother, don't you love the Greeks?). Akeso has a mortal identity, Dr. Aisha Mizrachi, who works in community medicine in Somalia. When she's not doing that, she's at Demeter's place helping out with those who sought sanctuary there.

So, here we go, another healer. Apollo doesn't need to run himself into the ground!

Hello everyone!

So, this is just kind of an FYI thing. Jenn and I have been talking about Enyo and Eris, about their history and how a lot of stories make them the same person (but just as many separate them). We decided to make that work for us.

We decided that these two lovely ladies were born twins, and identical ones at that. Sometimes people didn't know who they were looking at, sometimes they thought it was one when it was the other, and still others (not the gods) thought there was only one of them. Eris has had a lot of fun with the confusion in the past, I have no doubt.

Discord does like to change her face quite frequently compared to most of the other gods, so inevitably they don't look the same anymore. They're still twins deep down though, and I can tell you that as far as Eris is concerned, any offence or slight to Enyo may as well be made against herself. That said, I also have no doubt that Eris and Enyo have come to blows on many occasions as well. They're not exactly calm and serene goddesses.

This shouldn't affect anyone else, but if it's a problem or you need to talk something out with one of us, please do!

Hey guys!

So you might have noticed that the game seems to have hit a bit of a lull. We, your friendly neighbourhood mods, absolutely want to help everyone (including us) get back on the horse. Given how full of drama the last few in-game days have been, we have decided that the best way to do that is to skip forward ten days, from the last logs. This will give our characters a chance to take a step back from all the drama, and it will hopefully make them all the easier to tag.

To that effect, we're going to need everyone to tag this post with each of their characters (please make separate comments for each character, for clarity's sake), so they themselves can figure out where they're at 10 days later, and we can all know where other characters are at. Don't hesitate to figure things out with each other in Slack (or via any other channel of communication) before posting here! Below is a template for what would be good to post in your comments below.

Or, you know, Deimos. Hey guys. I know that Gina and I weren't a part of the Labyrinthine community for a long time, but hey. Back. I'm back, anyway. I'm not sure what she's up to at the moment.

We wanted to do a quick post about the reflection of real world events in game, or rather the lack thereof.

When the game was started, there were a lot of natural disasters occurring all over the world. There still are. We discussed whether we should related such happenings to the game; fold them in as part of the consequences of the gods disappearing, and ultimately, it was decided that rather than reference any events happening outside the game, we would stick to fictional references.

With the Supreme Court's decision today, it's a cause for celebration not just for so many in the United States, but around the world. The coverage in DC has been joyous and unrestrained, and it's fantastic to watch that unfold. That Anteros would want to celebrate the decision is no surprise.

However, moving forward, please keep in mind that, as a rule, we will not mark events such as this in the game. The format and subject matter don't lend themselves to it nearly as well as Safe & Sane, for example, which is set in real time and in such a way that the ruling would certainly be marked and celebrated.

That being said - everyone who is free in game to attend Anteros' party - please don't hesitate and enjoy it!!

So! You might have noticed that Anteros is having a party. He's celebrating the supreme court ruling about marriage equality in the States. HE IS VERY EXCITED, OKAY? LGBTQ+ rights are his pet cause. Basically, everyone who knows him is invited (though he's left it to Aphrodite to choose her lover for the evening - the Dad who doesn't come will be invited to dinner, alcohol and cake at a later date in apology). Everyone who is invited is welcome to bring whoever they like.

Now, do people want to assume this happened, or have a party thread they can have other threads inside of? I can do a closed post to describe it, or an open to all kinda thing. I'm open to ideas!

BUT THE POINT IS, meet Alex! He's a soldier for the Society, because he genuinely believes they're fighting the good fight. (Oops.) He's ex-military, before that he trained as a sports therapist, he speaks fluent Spanish, and he's always up for a game of ball. He's been with the Society for a few years now, and his family is long time Society (his father died in Arizona), so if you have a Society pup, let's talk! They can know each other, and if they don't already, they should.

So Artemis has really healthy ways of dealing with anger. In the next few days, no one will be able to get in touch with her, but Diana's Hunt will launch some very aggressive operations against the companies and people hurting her forests and the wilderness. Aggressive enough that people will die. Also there might be a mysterious plague infectious disease or two striking in the Amazon rain forest, weirdly contained to deforestation sites and the people working there. Will you look at that, the natives will be immune. Also expect random poachers getting shot dead (arrows, obviously, not bullets) in Africa. Etc, you get the gist.

For those of you whose gods would wanna get in touch with Artemis, it'll be a little while before she gets back to anyone. No one at her camp will know where she is or how to get in touch, including Orion.

Hi guys!

I'm not going to be around much this weekend. Doing a con thing here in Pittsburgh!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've come back home for the weekend, and while I'd hoped to visit and relax and still have time to be online some, that online time may be cut shorter than I'd like. Granddad's in the hospital and so there is going to be more time spent there, but I will check in when I can.

Karen, let me know if you'd like to get Athena and Adrestia talking, and Kari, Adrian is available for Troian, if you like! Also, Gina and Cherie - your boys haven't been forgotten and are missed, so if you'd like to get them into trouble, just let any of us know!

So, no, this isn't Mecca. Unfortunately, she realised that she didn't have the time for this game after all.

A little while after that, Hephaestus kinda moved into my brain. Hi, this is Fan', don't laugh, it's not funny how many characters I'm picking up dammit.

I'm going to try and find my footing (aka his voice) in a log with his wife, and then he'll be up for grabs for whoever wants a log with him.

Sorry for the away-ness and sporadic replies. I'm helping to train teammates in Manila, so on top of my regular work days, I have two-hour meetings that start around 11pm my time. So my brain is a bit melty!
