Well make sure to build your house brick by boring brick.
Characters: Wanda, Xavier, OTAnyone at the X-Mansion, Multi-Thread Entertain me!
Setting: Xavier's Institute, late afternoon
Content: Nothing bad that I can think of
Summary: Wanda visits the mansion to talk with Xavier and catch up with old acquaintances.
Notes: So this is multiple threads, mostly I am bored and the X-Mansion is a place full of characters Wanda hasn't interacted with. Anyway, for the record, she did live at the mansion for like six months before she became an Avenger so if your character has technically been around the mansion since 2008 then they probably know her in some capacity.
The Scarlet Witch's abilities had become a problem, and she had to face it. It wasn't something she could just ignore anymore; it was only going to become worse. Still, Wanda didn't know who she could turn to. She was too afraid to talk to Pietro about it, too ashamed to go to Cap. Tony had virtually disappeared and she wouldn't go to Nick on this one. Fury knew as well as she did what the kids from that other universe said about her. What she was supposedly capable of. She trusted that Fury would do what he felt right for the greatest good, and if that included imprisoning her for observation and tests she didn't doubt he would try and she couldn't blame him if he did. The only option left to her was Xavier and though she felt guilty- how often had he helped her in the past?- there was no other recourse.
For the first time since the suit's rampage Wanda left the confines of the tower and ventured in a taxi up to Westchester and the Xavier Institute. The renovations seemed to be coming along nicely- the main building looked to be mostly repaired. Wanda had sent a check to Xavier to help with costs, though she hadn't found the time to go herself. Another reason to feel guilty. She wandered around the main building for a little while before stopping in front of Xavier's office door. A quick peek inside showed her that he was absent, so Wanda flagged down a student to find him for her and settled herself in a chair in the entry hall to wait.
