I don't really care about it anymore.
Characters: Cassie, Pietro
Setting: Avengers Tower common room, midnight
Content: Probably some bickering.
Summary: Cassie is displeased. Some housemate bonding.
Cassie laid sprawled on the sofa, flipping idly through t.v. channels. She wasn't really watching, instead she was mostly silently fuming. This is totally unfair. That was the thought that had been going through Cassie's head, and coming out of her mouth in mutters, all evening. Ever since Pepper told her that tomorrow her afternoon would be filled by lessons with a private tutor who would prepare her to take high school equivalency exams. When she asked why she couldn't just work and forgo a diploma altogether- she already had the job after all, didn't she- Cassie got a lecture about the importance of education. Cassie was going to have extensive lessons five afternoons a week and, with the morning off, she supposed it wasn't quite as bad as going to public school but it meant regular work and school work and so how would she have any time left over for hero-ing? It was probably some devious plan by Tony to keep her off the streets and out of her mask. Tony had almost received a whiny text but Cassie thought better of it after the whiteboard incident. Which reminded her of yet another irritation in her life: Pietro. Their little war provided her with both amusement and entertainment. Cassie still hadn't given him back his X-Box controller and this morning she'd found another empty milk carton. Outside her door. She left it in front of his own bedroom with "Touche, Milk Bandit" scribbled in permanent marker. His move. At least she had something, even something so totally stupidly annoying, to look forward to.
