To lure a Cat.
Characters: Felicia Hardy, Madelyne Pryor
Setting: Offices of Wilson Fisk; later, an abandoned oil refinery not far outside of New York City.
Content: TBD
Summary: The Red Queen extends a very tempting offer.
The woman who walked into the offices of Wilson Fisk on Monday afternoon was hard to miss. She breezed past reception and security without a pause, no one bothering to question her assurances that she had an appointment. They gazed after her in a daze, an effect which couldn't be attributed to her appearance alone--dressed though she was in a skin-tight corset and black leather microskirt, long red hair tumbling down her back. She walked up to Felicia's desk, pausing by it like she only stopped as an afterthought, and held out a crisp, cream-colored envelope with Felicia's name in elegant red lettering.
"I have an appointment," she said, in a tone that presumed that Felicia wouldn't try to stop her, since she had been allowed (one way or another) past all the other secretaries and security guards in the building. Leaving the envelope on Felicia's desk, she swept past into the Kingpin's office.
The envelope was small, sealed around a heavy, cream-colored note card. The handwriting on it was the same as on the envelope; elegant, sloping letters in red ink.
Ms. Felicia Hardy,
Your presence is cordially requested to discuss matters of mutual interest. Monday evening, I think, around 8pm. I've taken the liberty of including a map to a proposed location which should be appropriately secluded for private conversation.
See you soon, kitty Cat.
The Red Queen
On her way out, after her 'appointment' with the Kingpin, she blew Felicia a kiss. Seemingly oblivious of the peculiarity of her appearance and behavior, she left, all smiles.
