Sirius was starting to get truly concerned when Echo was still refusing to leave her room. Frankly he'd had enough and couldn't understand why she was refusing to see everyone. Having the chance to have a relationship with the part of his family that he was actually fond of was something Sirius intended to capitalize on and Echo's being in hiding was not helping him accomplish his goal.

Sirius had also contacted Amelia and her roommate, Gibbs. Sirius was looking forward to hearing more on that situation at some point, but for now Echo was the primary concern and so he set out. He was getting that room one way or another, even if it meant he had to apparate in.
