Before she was taken, Chloe couldn't stand to be in the apartment that she was given, instead choosing to run around the wooded areas in her wolf form as she had done after her family abandoned her without the worry of hunters tracking her down. Boy, was she ever wrong about that one. For the past couple of months, she spent the days and nights under whatever drugs that the bastard that took her and many others - including, she found out, two others that were like her - half-shifted, her eyes glowing a cold steel blue instead of the brown that they normally were. Every time she was taken out of the cage, she howled, trying to let others - if there were any others other than the two that were there - where she was, but it was useless. The man had them so far away from everyone else on the island that nobody heard her cries for help.
When she got to the hospital, however, she turned to the one person that she trusted, and that was Caspian. The doctors said that she was malnourished and dehydrated, and would have to stay there for a few days, and to Chloe, that...didn't seem half-bad, to let others take care of her instead of having to take care of herself all the time. When she got Caspian's text that he was on his way there, she felt a little bit more relaxed, though she was still very much broken and scared from the whole ordeal.
