WESTWORLD: DAY ONE
I hope you all like horses and dirt. Seems like we're in a small settlement in the old west called Sweetwater. Few people out late at night, but they're coming around this morning. Most of them seem pretty polite, but there appears to be an outlaw around these parts called Hector Escaton. He's got a gang, so I'd be concerned about that.

More importantly, I don't seem to have my super strength anymore. Anyone else having that issue?

	Why would they go all weird? It's shooting a gun, it isn't even anything very hard. You're totally going to figure it out fast and look like you fit in here. If you want to. 	After last week, I really don't know what to expect anymore. From the look of this place, closest I've even been to a 'western' is that ranch in the 1940s. I don't really care about fitting in, but having some extra defenses will be good with everything else being gone. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Last week was... I don't think the things that happened last week are going to happen this week. It's going to be okay, as far as that's concerned. I think.

Maybe you don't need defenses this week, but I don't trust all these people carrying around guns without having one with me too. Maybe two. But I can definitely teach you not to shoot your own feet off and the rest is going to be just getting practice.

Good. Everything seemed to be contained in its week, but then Luz still has her cat tail from that fairy place, so... But yeah, it'll be fine. It'll be cool.

Hopefully we don't, but I don't trust a place taking away magic and powers without there being some reason to it. Just knowing how the guns work would be good too. I don't know how I'd defend myself against them right now. So even just knowing that would be better than nothing.

It will be. For me it's really important to take things one week at a time and try not to worry much about the things that happen the week before or there will be too much to think about. So think about the people first and what's happening second and only worry about weeks before if something seems the same in a bad way.

I guess I never worry much about that because I don't have them. But I'm really good with the gun stuff so at least you have a good teacher for it? If you don't need to know the things I teach then good, if you do then I rather you know them than wish we had a lesson.

	The hard part being how can you tell if it's a bad way or not. If we were just some place that was just fists and swords and that, I'd be good. But guns aren't really a thing on the Boiling Isles. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

If a thing was bad in the last week and it keeps happening in the next week, it's probably still a bad thing.

I guess most people would say that's lucky. Not so lucky here or in a lot of the places we end up, so you might as well learn one more thing, you know? Maybe I feel bad teaching these things to somebody who doesn't know how to fight yet, but for us it's just another fighting thing to know to make us better.
