	Clint lips thinned as he saw the older woman pinching his girlfriend's ear. So that must be Natasha's mother. He could see why the girl didn't like her. Clint nodded as he moved to follow her. "She's a partial reason," Natasha admitted with a sigh. She shook her head as she looked at him. "You do not have to be sorry. You were trying to do something nice and I appreciate it. Thank you." Once they were outside, she kissed his cheek. She smiled and waved at him as she left to the alleyway at the side.

After that, all that could be heard was the sound of a plate breaking against a wall and the hard smack of flesh on flesh. Natasha had ducked the plate, but she stood up to be slapped in the face by her mother. She glared at the older woman and was glad Clint would be away. She was sure her mother had some choice words for her.

	Just as he was walking away, Clint heard the sound of the plate and the sudden slap. Quickly,he turned towards the sound, tempted to run in. He didnt though. Instead he decided to be careful and stepped towards where he could hear what was going on without quite being seen. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"What the hell's the matter with you?" her mother snarled. Natasha stayed quiet, her eyes cast downward as she let her mother rant on. "Getting so familiar with him, then sending him out." She leaned in towards her daughter, then grunted in disgust. "Ugh, you reek of half-blood stink. Your father's going to hear about this when I get home."

The slytherin gritted her teeth. Her eyes lifted toward her mother again as she replied, "Why? He's dead. He's not going to hear-"

That only earned Natasha another slap as anger flashed in the older woman's eyes. "Shut up! It's all your fault!" She ripped at the uniform Natasha wore, tearing part of it off, then took out her wand. Just as Natasha took a step back, the older woman muttered a spell. "Sectumsempra."

Her eyes widened, but she braced herself as she felt the cuts and scars on her arms, legs, torso, neck, wrist, and ankles opened up. She bit her bottom lip so she wouldn't show any pain. She wouldn't show weakness in front of her mother. The older woman snorted and spat at her, not amused or impressed by the display. She threw down some money at Natasha's feet, then turned to the door.

"There's your pay for the day. I'll take the rest of your shift. Go back, Natalia, and clean yourself off. Your father and I didn't raise a whore. We taught you to be proud of your blood purity and who you are." Her mother left after that. Natasha winced as she bent down and picked up the money. The older woman only returned to throw Natasha's coat on the ground, deliberately tossing it in a muddy puddle. Natasha retrieved it as well.

She debated walking out as she was or putting on the coat, but in the end she opted for the latter. Dirty or not, she wanted to hide the bleeding as best as she could. She sucked in a cold breath of air, letting the chill help keep her grounded. She'd ignore the pain. She wouldn't show tears. They'd only hinder her. She just kept her head high as she walked out of the alley and headed off to meet up with Clint.

Clint watched silently at first. Hearing the insults made his blood boil, but he stood silent, knowing she wouldnt want him to get involved. Then the bitch hurt her and he nearly stormed out to find the old bat. He wasnt sure if he'd be able to take her out without putting Tasha in danger. Just as he was about to decide, the old woman walked back inside and he saw Natasha start walking out.

Immediate,y he walked over to her and reached out to lightly touch her hand. "Natasha.... come on. Let me get you to the healer."

Natasha's eyes went wide and she pulled her hand back out of instinct. When she saw it was Clint, she placed her hand down and shook her head. She avoided his eyes as she spoke.

"How much did you- Please, no healer. I don't think there's any charm that'll help. Even if there was, I don't want to explain what happened." Thinking back, all she wanted to do was celebrate. She was excited to celebrate her win with Clint and find out what the 'room of requirement' was really about.

"...You said you wanted to take care of me, yes?" she asked, a smile slowly appearing on her face. She finally looked into his eyes, still sad, but deciding not to let herself be beaten. "Bandage them for me. You told me you were good at charms, so maybe you know something to help me. If not, it's okay."

	Clint frowned. He understood why she didnt want to go to the healer, but those were also deep cuts. Tehere was little way around it and he nodded. "Come on. Let's get back to hogwarts them. I'm sure we can get some bandages from the healer without saying anything and I'll get a basin of water to wash you off." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Thank you." As they walked, she leaned over and kissed his cheek. "I could take a quick shower, then you can bandage me up in the room of requirement. I am almost tempted to go with the basin if it means you wash me off." She teased, smiling at him. Even in a dirty jacket and cuts on her body, even as she bled, she liked how he distracted her.

"We'll still celebrate, yes? I don't want this to ruin it for us. If it helps, I'll even keep the blonde hair, just this once."

	Clint nodded. "That sounds good. Why don't you go straight to the room of requirements and ask for a shower or bathtub in there and I'll go get bandages for you. "And of course we'll celebrate. "A shower or a bathtub? Doesn't that mean-" She stopped and raised an eyebrow at him. She smirked a bit and decided to poke fun at him. "...Are you sure you're not trying to see me naked? All you had to do was ask."

Twirling some of her hair around her finger, Natasha glanced at it and blushed. That was unfair. She wasn't expecting him to say that or be that sweet. She stayed close to him and mumbled, "...Thank you."

	Clint blushed a little and looked away. "I... It's not that. I just thought it might be better for you than to have to walk everywhere to get clean while you're hurt." It was obvious that he was embarrassed and a little shy. "dont thank me. It's the truth." He smiled down at her. "I like your red hair foxy. It's the reason we met." Looking up at him, Natasha smiled. She couldn't remember the last time she saw him blush and it was endearing. She kissed his cheek, then leaned her head on his shoulder, forgetting for a moment she could get blood or mud on him. Once she did remember, she stood straight up again. "Sorry. I forgot. I don't want you to get blood or dirt on your clothes just because my mother... yeah." It was still hard to admit what her mother did.

"It's still nice to hear, so thank you. Do you think while you get the bandages, you can get some snacks as well?"

	Natasha watched him and nodded. "Okay. Do you think I could also borrow an old shirt of yours and a pair of your boxers as well?" She did need a change of clothes and it was easier to borrow his than walk down to the dungeons. (Reply to this) (Parent)
