Not new to IJ or the whole journaling thing, but I love to journal and read about other's lives. I also comment, so please request an add. I'm twenty eight, so be over eighteen, sorry no kiddies here. I love the shows Xena, Hercules, That 70's show and Charmed. I'm also big on music from the 70's. Anything from the 70's really. I have a big, big, big thing for David Bowie at the moment. I'm also trying to become a Pagan, so if you're close minded about religion don't add. I'm looking for friends who share similar interests, and just want to maybe read each other's journal and offer comments.

My journal will be on the subject of drinking and the trouble it has gotten me into lately. Don't get me wrong I'm not an alcoholic but i will be cutting the drink out to see what happens to me and my social life. I will be totally honest about my past experiences with alcohol which i believe will be somewhat embarrassing for me at times but amusing for you to read. Us British girls don't do things by halves.

Hi everybody! My name is Courtney and I came here mostly because I heard this place was more RP-centric than LJ, and also because I get one hundred userpics and I absolutely love userpics, you don't even know. I have thousands saved, alkfgjdfg.

Anyway, I'm into Homestuck, Pokémon, Yume Nikki, Madoka Magica and some other things, I write fanfic sometimes and I'm thinking my journal's mostly going to be posting my various fanworks and rambling about my RPs (and I'm hoping to find some good ones!) and I hope to make some friends here!

And yes, I am totally open to RP suggestions/shameless bombardments right here and I'm also looking for some general Homestuck/Pokémon/Madoka/Yume Nikki asylums/communities/whatever they are? Like, not RP-centric, just...fandom-centric.

      new to this website so I'm not too sure on where to start and this seemed like as a good a place as any other. I created an account partly because of one I came across that was kind of amazing.... and also so that I could have an excuse to ramble on about life.

      interested in all types of art, music, and literature and my journals will probably reflect that. More than anything else though, they'll probably just show you how much of an idjit I can be..... I'm going to try to update regularly though.

      fairly open minded so if anyone wants to add me as a friend, that's more than okay!

Hi, everyone. I'm new to IJ, having created this account to try my hand at this 'expressing yourself' business. I'm quite unfamiliar with this website, but I'm willing to try my hand at regularly updating, and I'd love to meet some new people to help my familiarisation with this website all the more interesting.

I'm not sure what my purpose in this journal will be. I'm not involved in any fandoms, but I do have relevant interests. I also like music, particularly rock and some of the softer metal, and I recently attended my first concert - Karnivool. I like gaming, too, and I've recently created a Steam account. My first purchase will be Portal 2, which I'm yet to play.

I don't know if I'll journal about any of that, though. My other interests involve Arab culture, biology and medicine, writing, psychology and sociology, Buddhism & Taoism & Shinto, photography, botany & nature walks, exercise & diet & fitness, language and animal classification.

I'm a college student studying nursing and hoping to pursue a bachelor of biomedicine with a pharmacology major. I'm a support worker for physically and intellectually challenged individuals. I have an awesome partner who is even nerdier than I am, and I love it. I have a cat, but I'm planning on moving out of home soon and she'll have to stay where she is due to the extreme environment change (outdoors rural cat ≠ indoors metro cat). :(

I read a lot. I dabble a lot. I sing a lot. I play a lot. Add me if you do, too.

I'm new to IJ. A long time ago I had a greatestjournal, and I was absolutely religious about updating it- every single day, sometimes multiple times a day. Then GJ died (may it rest in peace D:) so I've been jumping from site to site but have yet to find one that I really like. I decided to try IJ because GJ directed everyone to this website a long time ago, and a friend of mine reccomended IJ. I love that it's almost identical to greatest journal. 
Anyways, my name is Meghan, and I'm a 20 year old college student with a pretty boring life. Most of my posts are ramblings about my life, and me gushing about my dog. I love reading other people's journals, just to see what other people are up to in their lives. So if you would like an extra reader, feel free to add me :).

This is a half-hearted attempt to be less anti-social. I am also interested in writing fanfiction. I am 21. For 20 years all I've done is kept breathing and kept silent. I have yet to start living. A change of "lifestyle" is in order, but I am at a loss on how to go about it. My support system is one person, my only friend. I don't think I am interesting enough or knowledgeable enough to make new friends. Not sure if I can trust people anymore. This is really depressing, but dunno how to introduce myself. The name zen is kind of random, but I would really like it if I could find some sort of balance. Call me Lucas.
