Hi. My name is Mandie. I'm a self-proclaimed Instant Star obsessive and even though the series has ended...I am still very much into the show and will continue to be until another television show is able to feel the void. Ha.

I'll be 19 in a couple of weeks. I'm a college student majoring in English with a concentration in creative writing. I have two dogs that are more important to me than any person. I like photography, music, graphics design, rp, writing and video editing. I spent a lot of my time on the computer doing one thing or another. I pretty much have a pretty boring life, but I tend to write about that boredom anyway.

Last night, I heard my first Patti Smyth track. "The Warrior." I'm in love.

One thing I wish people would know, just because I'm young doesn't mean I'm not experienced in my field. I have worked as a camp counselor, babysitter, live in nanny, substitute teacher, and head summer camp teacher. I also have taken and am taking several courses in education. Don't assume I don't know what I'm talking about when I start ranting on about child rearing :)
I'm originally a northern girl born and raised at the Jersey Shore until I moved down to South Carolina last year to start college. I have completely changed my ways, and love being a southern girl, there really is nothing better than the south :)

I haven't done this in a while, so here goes.

I'm Steph, 17 years of age and Australian. I Write, craft, draw, roleplay and enjoy a good ramble about absolutely nothing every now and then. I live in a smallish town that occasionally pretends to be a small city. I read too much, quote too often and have too many fandoms, I sing in the shower and have been known to act like I'm in a musical on occasion.

I'm also interested in cultures, religions and the like and am, myself a Pagan which sometimes comes up. I have very limited tolerance of horrible typing/short hand/Internet slang and a few too many cats. I also prefer people who comment. I myself try to comment regularly.
