Having gotten the all clear from JJ, Lena and Aoife proceeded to bake and cook several dishes before loading them all up in the car and driving them over. When JJ answered the door, Lena almost dropped the pie she was holding because even though she had seen JJ about a week and a half ago, she was visibly more pregnant and it was shocking. "That boy is going to come out huge," Lena said, instead of a greeting.

"Oh god, don't even remind me. I'm half terrified it's Nicky's and he's going to come out at four feet tall," JJ said, waving them into the kitchen so they could pyt all the food down.

"This is my friend, Aoife!" Lena said as she unburdened her arms. "She's Roxy's cousin by way of the Greek pantheon," Lena winked.

"With an Irish accent!" Aoife added with a laugh. "Your house is amazing by the way."

"Ah, pffft. That was all Nicky's doing. Nice to meet you! JESSE! LENA IS HERE! I am too pregnant to go get him," JJ laughed.

	"Iced tea would be amazing," Lena said in a sing-song voice. "Hey, Isaiah! We brought pie too, there's some in the kitchen. Where's little Jay?" JJ grinned and kissed the back of Nicholas' hand. Lena chuckled and added, "I have that with Jamie, but it's a step-mom soul. You're right though, Jayden and David are adorable."

Aoife buried her face in the dog's belly and Adrian took that moment to shoot Isaiah a desperate sort of look that he hoped his brother would understand. Adrian didn't get feelings and he didn't fall for people, and Isaiah understood why. And now there was a woman in their house and Adrian could hardly tear his eyes away from her.

	Isaiah furrowed his eyebrows, then looked from Aoife to Adrian, and had a lightbulb moment. He inclined his head as if to say, 'Are you going to be OK?' Because there wasn't exactly a subtle way to say, 'Excuse us, I think my brother is having some kind of crisis' without alerting everyone and possibly dredging up all their shit again. 	Adrian honestly didn't know if he would be okay, or what okay even was in this situation. He half-shrugged and wondered if he could somehow escape from this happy little party. He didn't want to leave, because being around Aoife was somehow like sunshine was in his veins, but maybe if he put some distance between them the world would make sense again? With Jesse distracted in the kitchen, Isaiah decided to just say 'fuck it' and take the two of them somewhere for a couple minutes.

"Excuse us for just a minute," he said, jerking his head at Adrian. "We'll be right back." He took them back to his room, closing the door to block out the noise from the living room. "OK, you look like you rode on a tilt-a-whirl and don't know which way is up anymore. What's up?"

	"Girl," Adrian answered, leaning up against the wall. "Girl pretty." Isaiah would understand why this was distressing to him instead of exciting. "She's got red hair. She has a beautiful smile. 	Isaiah raised an eyebrow, settling himself into his desk chair. "Caveman sentences, OK," he said. "Also, you know they'll be on that like bloodhounds, because there are restaurant kitchens less well-stocked than ours. Just tell them you need some time by yourself.
