So is this No-Shave November a thing or is it just an excuse people seem to be making up to get a month free of shaving?

Met Catriona McCormack at the match and she agreed to an interview so we could do a feature.

I mostly want it to flesh out our section on her and the other parts she features in on the Portree side of the book, but I figure a spread on a well loved Portree legend sold to the magazines will be good press.

Which is also an excuse to say: can we please do something unrelated to quidditch? I feel up to my ears in it and I wouldn't be surprised if you two were. It's inescapable right now. Even when mum took me as her date to some performance by one of her former students there had to be some gushing about that Australian teammate.

Well, so far no one in the league's gotten pregnant and left. We have a lot of young women, could still happen. David's not a risk for that status change.

He has to earn his place on the team, same as anyone, and he has to have the confidence of the coach and the manager.

I'm a little cross with them because we don't want to be part of a media circus, but we also have the second best record in the league, so there's no need to consider changes.

You've watched your brother play at the professional level, what's your take on him?

The Falcons always have brutal beaters and they kept the chasers at bay for a lot of it. But David got off as many shots as mum's favourite Australian and he let them take the lead which is smart given it's his first match and they were clearly trying to shut down anyone near the quaffle.

Plus he flew away injury free from a Falcons match as a rookie on his first pro match. I'd say that was something.
