Very proud of my sister and brother for their recent accomplishments in the media. Peggy, I constantly look forward to your articles, and Alec, well done on heading up the anniversary edition of Quidditch Throughout the Ages. You both set the bar extremely high, and I can only strive to live up to your examples.

URQUHART SIBLINGS

I'm bored.

PRIDE: PLAYERS
Anyone interested in a bonfire at the castle? Thought it might be nice to do something with just us, rather than practically the entire league for the opening match.

Also, I think I offended our brownie because I insisted on making a sandwich myself and would like to make it up to her by letting her feed the team. So if you don't want to do it for me, please consider doing so for her.

SARA SCRIMGEOUR
Miracle wants me to be the team's puppy, is what I got out of my meeting with her. All eager and whatnot.

Sorry, David.

Need help looking for something new while you play out the season?

It's fine, Alec.

Sure. What've you got in mind?

Find something that has some of the aspects you liked about auror. What did you like about an auror job?

Doing magic. Researching. Figuring out who did what and why. I don't know. I liked all of it.

Are all ministry jobs out? I'll avoid them here.

Exciting magic with some problem solving: Dragon tamer, cursebreaker, professional duelist, private investigations (not everyone wants official aurors, especially among some of the business sort).

Research plus interesting magic: magiczoologist, metal charmer, healer, loch ness kelpie specialist (if you don't want to go far), private version of the invisibility task force (they always seemed to have the interesting assignments)

I'll think of more. Just because auror isn't as much of an option doesn't mean we can't find something. At least we can try some out for you in the meantime and have fun with that?

I'd like to avoid bureaucracy as much as possible, though I realize that's a wish I'm never likely to be granted.

Also, I think we can safely rule out dragon tamer. And possibly Healer, as well, unless they have a branch that solely does research rather than attend to patients.

I'll think about your suggestions. Thank you. We can at least visit the different places and see what they're like, as an excuse to get out of the house a bit.

Bureaucracy and paperwork are as unavoidable as death and taxes.

Those were a bit out there I'll admit. At least some might be fun to check out.

Did you want to keep this from Da or mum? Just to know if we'll need to make up other reasons for our excursions.

I can't even begin to describe how much I hate everything about the statement you just wrote.

Always good to get out of the castle a bit, yeah.

[...] I'm not sure yet. Though I wasn't aware we needed a reason to go see dragons?

Truth hurts.

No, I mean the non-dragon options. Though we can always just say we're trying to do more together now that you're out of school.

That should work.
