	It was kind of ridiculous as Augustus wasn't much of a quidditch fan. But he was a Kal fan anyway. When she leaned in closer, he wrapped his arms around her waist for the moment. 	Only when Augustus pulled back and spoke did Kal realise that the sound had been directed at them, and then her cheeks immediately went red and her lips shaped into an "oh" without actually making the sound. She looked between him and the newcomer. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Kal does her best to recover her composure, which probably wouldn't be quite so flustered except that Maggie is obviously teasing them—and this is the first time she's met Augustus's friend, so it's an awkward first impression. "Hi," she says with a smile, giving a little wave with her free hand while her other squeezes Augustus's a little tighter. "It's nice to meet you. He's mentioned you, of course."

	Maggie grins and offers her hand. Hopefully Kal's ready for a firm shake. Briefly, she forgets how grumpy she was about the game (and her beer, and the flobberguts) because Pye has a girlfriend and he's kissing her in public and she's so proud. "Likewise. 	Kal slips her hand out of Augustus's to shake Maggie's, because otherwise it would have been a weird mismatched handshake. She squeezes back with equal, if slightly belated, force. 	Yes well... no not so much the charm. That would be like revealing all the panicked conversations Augustus had had with Maggie when they first started dating. 	Kal is a little amused at the vehement way Maggie talks about the cat, especially knowing some of the details about how it appeared. She gives Maggie a sympathetic look, though, at her last statement. "Yuck. But wait, how did it even get into your room? Did you ever figure out how it was getting into your flat in the first place?"
