It's not fair! Cal wanted to see the match and it was already over and he didn't get to see anything. He keeps yelling this until he's worked himself up and his sister, he would note with some satisfaction because if they make enough noise maybe someone will listen. At some point, mid-meltdown, he fort of forgets that what he wants is to see the quidditch match and starts yelling that he wants his mummy. Repeatedly. At the top of his lungs.

	Cal is very good at becoming dead weight when it's convenient for him and inconvenient for others. Once he had two hands free, Jamie starts hauling Callum off the floor and applying his no nonsense voice. "Callum Hwan Abercrombie, that's enough. You know better than this. We're going home. Now you have a choice. You can take a deep breath and shake it off and walk out with your brother." Who, oh Merlin, was hopefully nearby.

"We'll start fresh when we get home. Or I can carry you home and we keep having a bad day. You pick."

Jamie kneels down so he can look Cal in the eye (but he keeps hold of his shoulders so he doesn't run off). His voice is gentler this time. "I know, adul. But she has a responsibility. Gran needed her help with the quidditch team. That's her responsibility. Just like I have to go and work on the brooms and your responsibility is to be a good brother. Do you understand?"
