Who: Jupiter Macmillan & Elektra Yaxley (AND EVERYONE ELSE)
What: The Macmillan Twins* are turning thirty and throwing a weeklong party
When: Jan 1-6

Note: Jupiter's birthday is Jan 1, Lex's is Jan 6

*handwave* that invites were sent to pretty much all BIL quidditch folks, family friends, etc... aka, if your char is in game, they probably received an invite.

Jan 1 - The Official Joint Birthday Bash

Theme: She Leaves a Little Sparkle wherever she goes.
Location: Macmillan Park | Dress Code: Cocktail

Kicking off the week of festivities is the traditional joint birthday party for Jupiter and Elektra. This is a classy family & friends affair. Champagne & non-alcoholic bubbly are flowing, and its definitely opulent. Decor is black and white as the base with touches of pink and gold. There's life music to dance to and you have run of the whole estate. Of course, you might be rubbing elbows with team owners, ministry officials, and the like, so maybe keep your clothes on?

Jan 2 - Winter Wonderland

Outdoor fun for the whole fam. Ice skating, sledding, cross country skiing, snowball fights, warming huts, hot cocoa, fire & whatever else Razor might thing up if he comes...

Jan 3 - Quidditch Costume Party

Come as anything quidditch related - except it can't be your current team/mascot! Dress up as your (second) favorite team, player, mascot, equipment.. anything. There will be prizes! ** Also, if Ernie shows up to this, the girls will insist on making this Ernie's birthday night.

Jan 4- KARAOKE! 30 to the Extreme

wear 30 of the item of your choice, gift one to the birthday girls... come out and join Juplex in a private Karaoke room for some fun & singing

Jan 5 - Flirty Dirty Thirty!

Dress like your fave birthday girl (blond wigs, etc) - Clubs & Dancing in London. This is the night of partying

Jan 6 - Kiss your 20s goodbye @ Savage Yaxley Cottage

To end the festivities, it's a laid back night at the Savage Yaxley Cottage - inside & out. Mulled wine, hot cider, various cakes and snacks, silly games. While the first night was all sparkles and opulence with the big family, this is a quieter affair for friends & close family (no parents, etc). There's photos of the girls throughout the years.

For those who like quieter nights, we recommend Jan 2, Jan 3, and Jan 6.
For medical personnel - Lex will not be drinking at all this whole week and is taking it easy. See, she does listen.

	Chuck was dressed semi-casually, but the first thing anyone would've noticed about her though was the amount of glow stick bracelets that actually covered it. There were definitely thirty of them, and Lex and Jupiter definitely each got one. She definitely would've joined in on the singing - solo, duet or group! (Reply to this) (Parent)

Georgi did not intend to come to this, but his cousin and best friend Nadezhda Nenova came in today for a visit and she insisted on going out to meet his new friends. She's much more badass than Georgi will ever be, her English is impeccable, and despite her stuffy Ministry job and her political aspirations, she's got a sly and dirty sense of humor that will fit right in with the birthday girls. (Georgi's other cousin Alexei is not here yet, otherwise he'd show up too.)

Your favorite Bulgarian beater sticks close to his cousin and introduces her to everyone. And while even Nadezhda does not convince him to get up and do karaoke, her own confidence level is way up there and she struts onto the stage to do a charmingly retro version of the only Muggle song she knows the words to, dancing and singing right to all the guys in the room.

Also, Georgi didn't understand the 30 thing so they didn't do that. Sorry!

Georgi also didn't know that he was going to be here tonight, so that makes two of them! He has a bit of an awkward, blushing moment introducing Peggy to Nadezhda, who has already been informed about recent events related to the question of his marriage, but Nadezhda isn't awkward. She just wants to grill her about the newspaper business and her family and more generally find out whether she's good enough for Georgi.

Also Peggy and Nadezhda should totally sing a duet here. I demand that this party is the musical episode of this here TV show.

Peggy doesn't know a bit of the music but her mother is a famous opera singer so she will NOT back down from the challenge.

Peggy is delighted to meet Nadezhda and can hold her own conversing about the newspaper business, which she is basically at the Prophet to learn, and the book industry, and she's become surprisingly in-depth in her knowledge of Quidditch at least in the UK. If she's feeling awkward about this, she will not let on.

Alec is coming off work so he arrives a bit later and as this convo is happening. Truth be told, he got these dates mixed up. He thought today was dancing and tomorrow karaoke. Damnit.

Having no idea who Peggy's new friends are, Alec makes sure he only quietly comes up to Peggy and doesn't interrupt the conversation happening. He'll say hello and introduce himself when it reaches a natural lull.

The words Peggy's brother makes Georgi blanch a little because he is so not prepared to meet Peggy's family just yet, but he bravely offers his hand to Alec. "I'm happy to meet you. I'm Georgi Draganov. From Bulgaria," he adds out of habit. "And this is my cousin, Nadezhda Nenova."

"Also from Bulgaria," she tacks on with a wink. "I'm just visiting. Are you going to sing with me and your sister?"

There's a brief moment of realization as he connects Georgi's name to what Peggy told him before. Not wanting to mess anything up for her, but not sure what to say to that introduction, Alec is caught a little off guard as he shakes both their hands. "Ah um, Alec. From Scotland."

It's a little easier to relax with the pretty cousin (oddly enough), less of a minefield there, so he at least can put together more of a response when she shoots him a question. "I actually hadn't realized tonight was the singing night," Alec admits with a slightly sheepish shrug. "I'm afraid the more popular music over the wireless isn't my forte." Not to mention he knows zero muggle songs.
