What: The Macmillan Twins* are turning thirty and throwing a weeklong party

Note: Jupiter's birthday is Jan 1, Lex's is Jan 6

*handwave* that invites were sent to pretty much all BIL quidditch folks, family friends, etc... aka, if your char is in game, they probably received an invite.

Jan 1 - The Official Joint Birthday Bash

Theme: She Leaves a Little Sparkle wherever she goes.
Location: Macmillan Park | Dress Code: Cocktail

Kicking off the week of festivities is the traditional joint birthday party for Jupiter and Elektra. This is a classy family & friends affair. Champagne & non-alcoholic bubbly are flowing, and its definitely opulent. Decor is black and white as the base with touches of pink and gold. There's life music to dance to and you have run of the whole estate. Of course, you might be rubbing elbows with team owners, ministry officials, and the like, so maybe keep your clothes on?

Jan 2 - Winter Wonderland

Outdoor fun for the whole fam. Ice skating, sledding, cross country skiing, snowball fights, warming huts, hot cocoa, fire & whatever else Razor might thing up if he comes...

Jan 3 - Quidditch Costume Party

Come as anything quidditch related - except it can't be your current team/mascot! Dress up as your (second) favorite team, player, mascot, equipment.. anything. There will be prizes! ** Also, if Ernie shows up to this, the girls will insist on making this Ernie's birthday night.

Jan 4- KARAOKE! 30 to the Extreme

wear 30 of the item of your choice, gift one to the birthday girls... come out and join Juplex in a private Karaoke room for some fun & singing

Jan 5 - Flirty Dirty Thirty!

Dress like your fave birthday girl (blond wigs, etc) - Clubs & Dancing in London. This is the night of partying

Jan 6 - Kiss your 20s goodbye @ Savage Yaxley Cottage

To end the festivities, it's a laid back night at the Savage Yaxley Cottage - inside & out. Mulled wine, hot cider, various cakes and snacks, silly games. While the first night was all sparkles and opulence with the big family, this is a quieter affair for friends & close family (no parents, etc). There's photos of the girls throughout the years.

For those who like quieter nights, we recommend Jan 2, Jan 3, and Jan 6.
For medical personnel - Lex will not be drinking at all this whole week and is taking it easy. See, she does listen.

	Nadezhda only knows, like, four Muggle songs, and she's already sung one of them, so her options are limited here. "Gozhko would know more than I do," she answers, and looks expectantly at Georgi. 	Peggy was happy to seize on that idea as well. "You could try backup and if you don't like it, you can just hum along. It's not like we're on a public stage here, just among some friends." She's trying not to press too hard but it's clear she's interested in how he'll do. Also she's watching Nadezhda for clues about how to handle this. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"He can sing, he's just shy," Nadezhda informs the rest of them, and elbows Georgi, telling him in quick and direct Bulgarian, "[You want this girl to like you or not? Sing with her, idiot.]"

"Uh... okay, yes," Georgi answers, with some trepidation and a sideways glance at Peggy. He glances down at the list of songs doubtfully. "We don't know very much Muggle music, especially English. Except..." He flips to the front of the book to check. "Yes, this Swedish band, we know these songs. They sing in English," he assures the Urquharts.

	"We'll all try it," Peggy says, and gives what she hopes is a reassuring smile to Georgi. "I don't know a lot of Muggle music either, not even these, but we'll all get through together." She'd picked up how to do the karaoake by watching the others and the songs weren't exactly stretches, so once they got the rhythm down, Peggy thinks she and Alec should be fine. Alec shrugs and picks up the muggle microphone. He doesn't see this tripping either him or Peggy up. If anything he figures either of them can outsing any pop song, unless popular muggle musicians have started putting in a lot more effort than their wizarding equivalents.

He offers one of the other microphones to Nadezhda. "Lead us in? Just so we can catch on to the rhythm." He gives Georgi a small polite smile to try and reassure him that it's fine. He would never call himself bold or even particularly confident but next to their nervous Bulgarian he was starting to look it. At least he wanted to try and show he wasn't going to throw the poor guy under the Knight Bus in front of his sister. If Peggy wanted to see where this was going to go, he didn't want to mess things up early for her. Because meeting the brother before the first date would certainly have made him nervous too.
