	It was pretty shitty. I know she didn't think about it but it really could make it harder for me to interview players, too. I know nobody on Portree or Montrose or Wigtown would do anything, but some of the other teams have real brutes on them. Like the Falcons. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I'm afraid I can't solve all of your problems, or even accompany you to each interview should you need me. I know you wouldn't want me to, and that's not a slight on your ability to defend yourself, Merlin forbid, should it come to that, but me being male and all does tend to put a damper on another male's potentially nefarious plans.

The only things I can come up with are to make sure your interviews are in a fairly public setting, to keep attitudes in check?

Or if they try anything, you won't be slow to whip out your wand and show them up.

I don't know.

I'm sorry this is possibly going to affect your reputation in any regard.

You're a sweetheart and I appreciate both the thought and the understanding. It's not that I really expect anything, even, but it's something I have to think about, and this is just a complicating factor. Especially in a job where access to the sources is an important part of what you do. You can see how it would be complicated.

It's usually not even something where they grab you and you want to hex them, but sometimes it's more like: I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine, and their back isn't what they want scratched.
