Leanne made dinner again. This time she took broccoli and put it in with the mac and cheese, along with the hot dogs. That way she wouldn't have to make an extra salad on the side, and she could focus on dessert. She made brownies this time, with little chocolate candies in them. It was a very good meal.

The wine they'd shared the last time was gone by now. Sometimes when she was alone at night, Leanne turned to wine for comfort. She needed a bit of comforting lately, as she kept seeing Katie in the halls at St. Mungo's. So, anyway, Leanne picked up a new bottle of wine, and a bottle of sparkling apple juice, then headed over to Roger's place.

She hoped he remembered she was coming. She knocked on the front door.

	"She was my babysitter, but then she just stopped visiting. I dunno why. She sent me a present, but she hasn't babysat in a while. Dad just owls Nana." What could Roger say? "Oh, well, I'm sorry that you haven't seen your friend in a while." Leanne said. She was very curious. She glanced over at Roger, to see if his face betrayed anything.

"But maybe she'll come back around. I mean, how could anyone want to stay away from you for long?" She gave Brighton a grin. "You're far too much fun to be around."

Then she reached for the brownies.

	Leanne started in on her brownie. It was good. She'd stuck little M&Ms in them, and the extra chocolate and crunch of the candy shell made them quite a bit more interesting. 	Roger listened the the voices from down the hall as he cleaned up dinner. It was good for Brighton to have a female influence. Roger knew he wouldn't be nearly as charming if his father had raised him alone. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	The two went to the bathroom to brush their teeth--Leanne conjured a toothbrush for herself, and borrowed some of his toothpaste--then to his bedroom. She waited in the hall so he could get his pajamas on in some privacy, then she stepped into the room to read him a story. "What do you want to hear tonight?" She asked, taking a seat on his bed.
