Where: Coffeeshop
When: 10 am, backdated to Friday morning
Warnings: Possibly cussing?
Sydney had awoken this morning with little help from her alarm clock, which was unusual. She also woke up with a strange knot in her stomach--she couldn't tell if it was from nervousness, or hunger, or excitement, or guilt. Maybe a combination of all three. Rolling out of bed, she'd spent over an hour trying to decide what to wear before hurriedly slapping some cream cheese on a bagel and eating it. She made some fresh-squeezed orange juice, drinking some and leaving the rest in a pitcher with a note for Will. Her hands brushed against the stair railing as she left, heels clicking as she rushed to her car.
She was ten minutes early when she got to the coffee shop, which was good, because approaching him once he'd already sat down would remind her too much of her reunion with Roger. She ordered a coffee from the server at the front (and blushed profusely when she found herself randomly commenting on his attractiveness) and found a comfortable seat, away from most of the humans who were reading the news or going about getting their morning coffee. At least then they'd be able to talk without interruption. Plus, being overheard by a human when discussing their centuries of history might be a bit...awkward. Or strange.
She sat for a minute before remembering that they lived in the same apartment complex. "Fuck!" she cussed softly under her breath. "I should've offered him a ride." Though, once she thought about it, that might have felt silly...meeting him in the apartment complex just to drive all the way to a coffeeshop to talk. But because for some strange reason she was feeling impulsive today, she pulled out her cell phone and texted him.
