A short laugh escaped him, since he really hadn't been expecting that particular comment. "No, no, it's, um. It's fine. Your honesty is...refreshing." After a moment to gather his thoughts, he continued, grateful for the topic change. "It's alright, I guess. It's funny, I've been here for seven years now, and I haven't really seen any of it. Sad, right?" He gave a wry smirk, then shifted in his chair, the better to give her his full attention. "And what about you?"
