You’re going to be disappointed if you were expecting something profound. I’m looking for a decent coffee place in the Rainier Valley area – preferably cheap. Not really a fan of the commercial stuff.

Help a lady out, would you.

What's wrong with the commercial stuff?

Too sweet. It makes me nauseous.

Plain coffee isn't sweet. Are you a sugar person?

See, you have your priorities straight. Please explain the importance of coffee to J. Corvus, when he pops up and reads you poetry.

They’re a fan of Starbucks, I take it.

Just the opposite. He doesn't understand how important a good cup of coffee can be to a person.

That’s too bad. I don’t know how he can get through the day without it.

He has poetry to sustain him, apparently.

We all have something that gets us through the day. Coffee isn’t his, but poetry isn’t either.

Oh, but those are the things most worth finding out.

My tastes aren't particularly discerning these days. If it is coffee of some variety and it is in liquid form, it is good enough.

Sometimes I have to pop into the Valley for a bit and there's a small cafe called Monorail Espresso. I don't drink coffee myself, but I have heard from other patrons that it is quite heavenly.

I recommend their hot chocolate myself!
