Minor Injury Meme

A meme for those minor injuries that won't leave you down but make it hard to live your life. The breaks, sprains, and the hurt/comfort that comes with them.

INJURIES

1. SPRAIN: you stepped the wrong way, twisted the wrong way, and something has gone terribly wrong. Just remember RICE - Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.

2. FRACTURE: You step off the sidewalk, working in the backyard, and suddenly BAM!! But it's not a sprain, oh no, you're in a cast for the duration. Good luck trying to get to work.

3. PULLED: It's not bad enough for medical attention but it still hurts something fierce. Break out the tiger balm or someone to give you a hand because you've pulled something. That awkward moment when you think you want vicodin...and nobody will give it to you.

4. MIGRAINE: Light hurts, air hurts, moving hurts. All you can do is lie in a darkened room and pray for the pounding pain to go away behind your eyes.

5. THE FLU: Maybe you're physically fine – well… all your limbs are working. You just feel like death warmed over.

6. WILDCARD: Anything else you can think of.

SCENARIOS

1. INJURED! WHAT NEXT?: You're out working, you're out having fun, you're out doing something when suddenly you step, twist, move and our bodies demonstrate just how fragile they really are. Quick! someone call the ambulance!

2. THE EMERGENCY ROOM: All the fun of a waiting room with rewards that include crutches, casts, X-Rays, vicodin, and sometimes just that one nurse who says "Yeah there's nothing wrong with you that'll be 400 dollars."

3. HOME AND SETTING UP THE NEST: Hurt, trying to make a space for you to get around. Hopefully someone is there to help you get to your crutches so you can go to the bathroom and make yourself something to eat.

4. PHYSICAL THERAPY HOME EDITION: The obligatory smut option. Do you not see that I'm wearing this cast?

5. OH GOD HELP I'M GOING TO DIE: That awkward moment when the fact that you are bedridden is crushing down on you and you're terrified you'll do something to make the injury worse. Snappish, angry, and rude - who are you going to take it out on?

6. DRIVE ME TO THE DOCTOR THIS SHIT IS COMING OFF: It's time, they say you can come in, take it off, and begin the next stage of recovery. Failing that, you’re going to grab a saw and cut the damn thing off yourself! Will there be joy, laughter, crying, happiness?

7. WILDCARD: Anything else you can think of.

Danielle wrapped her arms around his neck, letting out a soft whimper against his lips. She never could back down from a challenge. She knew it was risky. Mr Miyagi could literally return at any moment. But jeez, those fingers felt so good inside her and Johnny knew exactly how to tease her clit.

"If you can, I'll be sure to return the favour later when we're alone," she promised, as she rocked her hips.

They definitely brought out the adrenaline junkie in each other. It was probably unhealthy just how many risks they were willing to take once they were in each other's space. Danielle had never known when to leave well enough alone, and that was definitely true when it came to Johnny. Every challenge was like lighting a candle near a moth or waving a red flag at a bull. She could never back down.

She moaned softly, rocking her body in time with his fingers, clenching and squeezing down on the digits.

Danielle rested her head against his, whispering his name like a soft prayer. Her slick coated his hand, her toes curled, body tensing as she chased her release.

"Mmm, come on, baby." Johnny murmured, pumping his fingers harder, his other hand moving up underneath his sweatshirt and gripping her left breast, carefully twisting her nipple between his fingers. It was kind of hot that they might be caught, and he knew that he had to stop letting her get him worked up like this.

"Dani..." He murmured, she felt so good, like she always did. Johnny was sure that she was almost there when there was a knock on the door. "John Lawrence! Open this door right now!"

It was Sid's voice. Johnny froze, heart pounding. He slowly lifted Danielle off his lap, and reached for his crutches. This was not good.

Sid's booming voice was definitely an instant mood-killer. Danielle sucked in a few deep breaths to try and calm herself down. She ran her hands through her hair and adjusted the sweatshirt to make sure she looked halfway decent as she made her way towards the door.

She slid the chain on before opening it as much as the chain allowed, setting a cold stare on Sid. "Mr Weinberg," she greeted, trying to keep her nerves out of her voice. "How can we help you?"

Johnny had managed to get up, and he was making his way over on his crutches. "What are you doing here, Sid?" He asked, giving him a fierce look. Sid glared back at him. "Who said you could move in with your girlfriend? You're coming home, now."

He gave Johnny a glare that told him what was going to happen when they got there, too. Johnny gave him a glare back, and before he could speak, Mr. Miyagi had come up behind them, carrying a plate of peanut butter cookies. "What go on?" Mr. Miyagi asked, immediately sensing the tension. Johnny almost let out a sigh of relief.

"Sensei, this is my... stepfather, Sid Weinberg." He said, knowing Sid couldn't make him do anything, Mr. Miyagi wouldn't let that happen. "He wants to drag me back home, and I don't want to go with him." Johnny said truthfully.

Looking at Sid, Mr. Miyagi said, "Johnny-San no go with Papa." His tone was firm, and brooked no argument.

It wasn't until Danielle heard and saw Mr Miyagi that she took the chain off of the door and opened it all the way. She folded her arms across her chest, glaring daggers at Sid. The nerve of him! Showing up here. Demanding Johnny go home. Pft. Home. That was a joke. Home was where you were supposed to feel safe and loved. Sid's place wasn't a home. It was a prison.

"You heard Johnny, Mr Weinberg. He doesn't want to go with you. I think you should leave."

"Who are you to speak to me?" Sid asked, and then did the worst thing he could do. He slapped Danielle across the face, and that was when Mr. Miyagi put down the cookies and grabbed Sid, punching him in the face, knocking him hard enough he hit the pavement of the walkway.

"No hit Danielle-San!" Mr. Miyagi snapped, and Johnny was surprised, he'd never heard Mr. Miyagi so angry. He had grabbed Danielle as she had started to fall, and he was leaning against the door, holding her to him, really hating that Mr. Miyagi had to be the one who was fighting this battle.

Danielle clutched the side of her face. A red welt was already blooming, no doubt it would leave a bruise. It happened so quickly she didn't even stand a chance to defend herself. What sort of asshole hit girls? Oh, right, the same kind of asshole that made his stepson's existence miserable.

Sid may be a piece of shit. And as much as Danielle would love to kick the crap out of him, she didn't want them to sink to his level. "Mr Miyagi..." she said, cautiously. After all, an angry Miyagi wasn't something she had experience with. He was usually so chill.

Standing, Sid looked at Johnny. "I don't care what this kike says, or little this slut. You're mine, and you're coming home with me right now. Leave your things, they don't matter."

Mouth dropping open at the slurs, Johnny did his best to keep from yelling. His tone was deathly quiet. "If you ever refer to either of them like that again, I will kill you. Do you hear me, old man? Just because you use me for your sex toy doesn't mean I'm going to let you treat either of them that way. Apologize. Now."

Sid looked at him, and Johnny didn't seem to notice that he'd revealed what Sid did to him. "Are you serious? I don't think so."

Johnny's confession felt like a sucker punch. It knocked the wind right out of Danielle and made her feel sick to her stomach. She knew that Sid beat Johnny but she had no idea that he had been doing that to him.

She stepped in front of Johnny, fists balling at her sides as she glared at Sid. "I suggest you fuck off back to Encino before we call the cops. You're not welcome here. And come near Johnny again and I will rip your dick off." He struck first, it counted as self-defence to threaten to dismember him, right?

Danielle took a step closer to Mr Miyagi and rested her hand on his shoulder gently. Sid deserved everything he got, but he wasn't worth killing. She glared down at Sid, seething with anger.

"Some people don't deserve kids." She stepped closer to Sid, even though her face was stinging like hell and she was pumped with rage and adrenaline. "You're not a father. You're a bully and a monster," she hissed at him.

"Well then, we go and get the most important stuff. We can store some of it here and some of it at Mr Miyagi's. We'll make it fit." Maybe they could even ask the other ex-Cobras to store some if they needed to.

But Danielle wasn't happy about the idea of leaving Johnny's belongings behind. Sid seemed the kind of pathetic, petty asshole that would destroy it just because he could.
