Visitors and residents alike delight in the beautiful combination of old world finery and modern age entertainment that make this town so unique. Antebellum plantation houses rub shoulders with modern art museums and parks as old as the town itself house weekly markets and art fairs. For those wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the town limits also extend along a wide, steady river that empties into the ocean, a mere 20 minute walk from the town proper. But everything is not as it seems in Lexington. No one comes there by choice, and no one leaves it that way either.
