| In Kanto’s Saffron City, there is a secret hideout to the malicious Team Rocket. There, Giovanni recently found a machine that can supposedly create brand new Pokémon. Assuming it worked, two of his brigade named Jessie and James flicked it on and the machine ended up causing a rip in the world.
The rip caused people and Pokémon to appear. Worried about what they did, Jessie and James fled and left Giovanni to deal with the newly appearing people and the little Pokémon that didn’t seem to want to leave their sides. It didn’t help that they busted the switch for the machine and the thing can no longer be turned off.
Now responsible for worlds colliding, Giovanni is wondering if these people could be of use to him. Until he has answers, he’s keeping an eye on things by giving them all a place to stay.
