Since I'm new to the campus, I'll introduce myself. My name is Ai Koizumi, and I'm a Nurse Practitioner at the Wellness Center.
I always tell myself I must check out New Orleans at this time of the year, but I usually get so involved with work that I forget until its too late. Someone needs to remind me in October or November, so I can make it next year. My inner goddess will thank you.
I hope everyone will take care of themselves today and not get into too much trouble. However, I will be at the Wellness Center all day today and tomorrow if you do.

I know it was a dude, since I don't know any chicks with voices that low, but in the rush to yank on my shirt I didn't get a good enough look to confirm any details other than 'taller than me' (which could be most any guy in the dorms).

I don't know about anyone else, but the thing for Mardis Gras for me is the food. I really want some crawfish, but I'm not sure where they have good crawfish around here. Guess I should try some new seafood places.
In other news, I'm thinking about changing the textbook we use in my class. It's not that it's outdated or anything, but it's a little hard to read. Even I get bored reading it. I guess I've got some other stuff to do too.
Oh screw all this contemplation, I'm going to get some pizza and go for a run. Maybe not in that order.

The philosophy department will be hosting another event this Thursday. Wine and cheese will be provided with the proper identification. The guest lecturer is a professor from NYU whom I met during the conference; the topic is How Empirical Facts about Attention Transform Traditional Philosophical Debates about the Nature of Perception. As always, I urge everyone to go, and if you are a student currently enrolled in my seminar, you can expect an extra ten points if you stay and participate in the discussion afterwards.

It is now Mardi Gras, mas petites! Back in St-Martin, we celebrate with a huge festival in Grand Case during the Epiphany season... it is too bad Colorado does no such thing. I hear there is a couple drink specials around town, but I will be celebrating at home with my cats this year. C'est la vie! But I am really surprised at this stupid Americanized thing of showing your breasts... really? If you need an excuse, think of something better. Quand même! You think we are all oversexualized deviants around here. And I'm even a goddess of
