All these Christmas movies are the same. Girl finds guy who's new in the city in flannel who rescues her from bad or boring life style. Any guys in flannel out there want to Tell me why I am watching these? One set in New York, one set in Seattle. Only different one is the one set in Korea, and even that one is the same premise.

I guess I'm a masochist because these movies are pain. And yet here we are.

There's lots of cheesy movies that aren't about a girl finding a guy. Nature is good for the soul too, if there's such a thing as souls.

I know. I'm mostly being somewhat sarcastic. And also possibly in a movie coma cause I don't feel like doing much else. But I did find some fun gay christmas shows so there's that. I don't even like Christmas that much but here we are.

Is there a different holiday you celebrate or is it more of Christmas being a hard time?

More of the latter. But I'm finding myself to be an atheist. I don't really love holidays as a whole, I participate for the sake of others instead.

I think I'm agnostic.

That's kind of you. I suppose it's difficult to avoid too. Holiday stuff tends to be everywhere.

Used to be more of that, then things happened. Lots of things in a short amount of time. I don't know anymore.

Just cause I'm not a fan doesn't mean I want the people around me miserable. Even if I mostly want to go hide in a box from it all until new years.

I was raised without any ideas of religion or god. unless you count my dad acting My guardian had some ideas about god that he shared with me, not forcing them on me, just talking. I don't know either.

You must be close to some people here then.

Had some traumatic things happen that basically killed off those beliefs a long time ago as a kid.

My older brother is here, he likes holidays. Only real tolerable part about them is that part.

The trauma was what made me think god might be real. If we're supposed to be made in god's image and god kills his 'children' all the time, then maybe what my dad did wasn't all my dad's fault. But I know that's just one way of looking at things.

Your older brother doesn't have the same trauma? Did something happen after he moved out?

Huh guess it's opposite for everyone.

He does not, he has his own trauma. He's my chosen family. We're not blood related. That's a pandora's box we don't go into anymore, sorry.

Or I'm just not normal different.

I get it. I had found family too, my guardian and someone else.

Nothing wrong with that. Normal is vastly over rated anyway.

I try to hold onto that these days. Not think about the rest.
