Trans-dimensional portals, that's brilliant! The COLT-5000 will never find me here Much more convenient than a ship, though they do have a lot less space for cargo. All I've got now is my time hopper, and that looks like it's completely blown out. Can't say for sure that was the portal though. It's not like I've ever built one before and it was scrap parts. Still. Got me out of the shipyard, and now I'm on Earth! My dad loves this place, I really thought it would take me a lot longer to find it. Are we sure we can't leave the property? It's only I want to see everything.

Well it's sort of complicated to measure, you know, when you're never on the same planet twice and jumping around spacetime in between. And I'm not quite used to the calendar here yet either. But my best guess... six months, eleven days, fourteen hours.

I'm not a baby, I just... skipped that part. Rapid growth progenation, designed for colony ships so they don't have to transport the full number of people they'd need to establish a viable settlement.
