What is the policy on pets here?

Asking for a friend who may or may not have put his name down to adopt a couple of rats. (They have a cage and will be in said friend’s room. They’re both boys so there won’t be a sudden population explosion.)

They’re pretty smart, you can train them to do tricks, but they’re not everyone’s cup of tea.

About ten inches body length, plus an eight inch tail.
