Hi there! I've already replied to one entry here, but I thought I'd put up my own post and see if anyone bites.
I'm looking for a CO-MOD for a Sailor Moon PB game I'm in the process of setting up. In a nutshell, it's kind of like a Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but for otaku senshi*. It's set in Crystal Tokyo and borrows from both the (Japanese) anime and the manga, though hopefully it will be set up in such a way that anyone will be able to play. Oh, and don't worry, there's more to the plot than girls running around in short skirts.
I'd like for the game to be heavily focused on writing and character development. Think Harry Potter-style applications, where you really delve into the character's headspace. If you've ever talked about a character's "voice," enjoying doing character memes, and obsess over little details like your character's interior decorating, you are totally my kind of people.
Recently, I've been thinking about a point system that will reward players for keeping active in the game. Basically, players get points for activity: Journal posts (beyond the minimum requirement), comments, "assignments" (writing drabbles with an assigned prompt, completing a scene with a random rp partner, etc), things like that. In return, you can use those points to "buy" your soldier new accessories/attacks, artwork, etc. That way, there's more incentive for activity AND we curb the potential for Mary Sues and godmodes, which sadly run rampant in otaku senshi. Of course, this idea is just that—an idea—but together, we can iron out all of the details! (:
As a mod, I'm a jack-of-all-trades kind of person. I can do graphics, html, plot, information, and I can even be the "mean" mod when push comes to shove. I'm pretty reliable, but I do have other obligations (social life, school, work, the typical things that get in the way of RP), thus my need for a co-mod.
I'm looking for the same thing every other mod is looking for in a co-mod. Reliable, creative, kind to all living things, etc etc, but what I really want to stress here is friendliness. I cannot tell you how many times I have gotten a co-mod and, after that initial conversation, they never talk to me again. I'm not really into the whole "anon" game thing. I like to know who I'm playing with. I understand not everybody can be friends in RPland, but I'd really like to try. (:
Thanks for reading!
*Otaku senshi literally translates to "house soldiers," or fan characters set in the Sailor Moon universe. Remember making up a Sailor Comet, or a Sailor Sun when you were little? This would be the home for them.
