As always, Legolas was wide awake when the note came. Of course, since he never truly slept, this wasn't much of a surprise. He jumped off the couch he had been resting on and ran to the door. It had become a bit of a game to him, to see if he could get there fast enough to catch the golem in the act of pinning the note to his door. He had yet to do it, and today was no exception. By the time he got there, the thing was long gone. No trace was left of it, except of course the note.

It was no surprise to him what it said, and he even knew what one of the things was that he was supposed to be doing. The elves made wonderful canoes, though of course he'd never even remotely heard of kayaks. He grinned broadly, beyond pleased by the summons. He really liked meeting new people, and he'd met several through activities such as this. Of course, not all of them were still on Mirage, but he chose not to think of that.

A quick shower later, he dressed himself in his typical tunic and leggings. His sharp silver knives he kept in their place, but the bow he regretfully left behind. Just like when he'd gone white river rafting, he knew the weapon would be useless with all the water splashing around. He couldn't help but feel a bit naked without it, though, as he stepped out the door for breakfast.

It wasn't long before he was at the appointed spot by the shore of the lake. There were several boats around, and he looked at the curiously. They didn't seem to be made out of wood, but rather some strange substance he'd never seen before. Thoughtfully, he went over and tapped on it. The sound made him laugh. Then, he stood back and waited, hoping others would come soon.

He cocked his head as the guy limped closer to inspect him. He rolled his eyes, it was a common mistake in both demon and human circles, assuming that a vampire was just a human who lived of blood. "Yeah, sure I go up in smoke if I try and get a suntan.. only a few things can kill a vampire." He smiled to the crippled man "And I can control everything my fangs do.. and I can more then taste diffrent blood types, when you heart really gets a beating, and I can hear it a mile off I can smell it when I'm real close.." He leered at the man slightly. "Everyone's blood is slightly different, and I can taste strong foods on it. Slayer, or witch blood is the best.. though I'd imagine there is a few folks round here it'd be worth a nibble on.." He looked over his shoulder at the elf and the woman in the boat. "But we can discuss my menu choice later.. we've got a race."

He smiled. This could be quite amusing, but he wasn't into the whole team pow-wow himself, the human was talking quietly, but to his sensitive ears it was clear as broad daylight. "Good, you tell me what to do, and I can put this in the bag." he thought on the man's next words about getting on the boat, before he heard the elf counting. He turned his head seeing him sliding the boat away.

He growled from the back of his throat before looking at the boat and his own partner with a hiss as the man called him a moronic meathead. He one handedly lifted the guy by his collar covering the ground in record time, ignoring any hits or protests he might get, hissing like a wet cat as he dumped him in one end of the boat, kicking it out into the water before jumping on board with two paddles. He wobbled stood in the middle.

"Watch who you call Mornic, boy. Remember your like a bleeding happy meal on legs to me. Easy prey." He smiled. "Now what in fuck do we do?" he wobbled again, looking at the lake water with a frown. "Water isn't a strong point of mine.
