As always, Legolas was wide awake when the note came. Of course, since he never truly slept, this wasn't much of a surprise. He jumped off the couch he had been resting on and ran to the door. It had become a bit of a game to him, to see if he could get there fast enough to catch the golem in the act of pinning the note to his door. He had yet to do it, and today was no exception. By the time he got there, the thing was long gone. No trace was left of it, except of course the note.

It was no surprise to him what it said, and he even knew what one of the things was that he was supposed to be doing. The elves made wonderful canoes, though of course he'd never even remotely heard of kayaks. He grinned broadly, beyond pleased by the summons. He really liked meeting new people, and he'd met several through activities such as this. Of course, not all of them were still on Mirage, but he chose not to think of that.

A quick shower later, he dressed himself in his typical tunic and leggings. His sharp silver knives he kept in their place, but the bow he regretfully left behind. Just like when he'd gone white river rafting, he knew the weapon would be useless with all the water splashing around. He couldn't help but feel a bit naked without it, though, as he stepped out the door for breakfast.

It wasn't long before he was at the appointed spot by the shore of the lake. There were several boats around, and he looked at the curiously. They didn't seem to be made out of wood, but rather some strange substance he'd never seen before. Thoughtfully, he went over and tapped on it. The sound made him laugh. Then, he stood back and waited, hoping others would come soon.

He smiled at the canine smelling woman. Slowly extending his hand out of the shadow, and into where they're had been sunlight and now was some odd twilight. No fire, burning or dusting. "Well thats something pet.. thanks.." he smiled, dropping his blankets happily. He looked at the human head cocked as he mentioned teenagers playing at vampires.

He was at the man's side in a moment, switching faces. Fangs extending, bones shifting in his face and eyes turning golden as stared at the other man. "People I bite don't go to clinics, they go to graves.." He extended his arms out and swayed back, as if he was starting a fight. "I'm the real deal. Don't you worry about what nasty things are in your mouth mate, won't even give me a hiccup if I drain you.." He laughed, shaking his head until he had his human mask back.

"I get stuck with him.. that can't be fair nature boy.." He glared at the elf, and then at the human girl.

He looked to the elf hopping into the boat like a kitten, then at the golem again. "I think we have a race to win." He said striding over to the boat, easily lifting one end of it and sliding it into the water. "No need for experience.. got a master vampire on your side. Now get it the boat thing mate.." He looked to the doctor.
