As always, Legolas was wide awake when the note came. Of course, since he never truly slept, this wasn't much of a surprise. He jumped off the couch he had been resting on and ran to the door. It had become a bit of a game to him, to see if he could get there fast enough to catch the golem in the act of pinning the note to his door. He had yet to do it, and today was no exception. By the time he got there, the thing was long gone. No trace was left of it, except of course the note.

It was no surprise to him what it said, and he even knew what one of the things was that he was supposed to be doing. The elves made wonderful canoes, though of course he'd never even remotely heard of kayaks. He grinned broadly, beyond pleased by the summons. He really liked meeting new people, and he'd met several through activities such as this. Of course, not all of them were still on Mirage, but he chose not to think of that.

A quick shower later, he dressed himself in his typical tunic and leggings. His sharp silver knives he kept in their place, but the bow he regretfully left behind. Just like when he'd gone white river rafting, he knew the weapon would be useless with all the water splashing around. He couldn't help but feel a bit naked without it, though, as he stepped out the door for breakfast.

It wasn't long before he was at the appointed spot by the shore of the lake. There were several boats around, and he looked at the curiously. They didn't seem to be made out of wood, but rather some strange substance he'd never seen before. Thoughtfully, he went over and tapped on it. The sound made him laugh. Then, he stood back and waited, hoping others would come soon.

She looked around at the other's then back to Spike. “Doesn't this all seem like a bad joke to you an elf, a walker a vampire and a cripple all rowed merrily down the stream?” Mercy couldn't help herself laughing and then she had an idea. She turned and looked up into the air.

“Planet! Can you please change the color of the sky and block the sun so our Vampire will not fry? Please!” She shouted and as soon as she was done the clouds came together as the sky turned into a tinted shade of deep purple blocking the suns rays from touching the earth but left it light enough to see. “It's safe to lose the blanket.” She nodded at him then walked back over with the others.

“My lord Legolas, would you please join me in my boat and we shall take the waters together as a team?” She bowed her head to him. “It would bring me great pleasure, besides I have a knack for beating vampires at all sorts of games.” Mercy cracked her knuckles then eyed the boat and the other two grumpy looking men. "I grew up on a ranch so I've done this kind of thing a lot."

She was always competitive and into sports, especially if there were a bunch of men involved she liked to kick ass and take names. Mercy had proved on several occasions she had enough guts to hang with the men. “Come on now guys don't be spoiled sports we'll just race around the blue markers and back, unless that is you two grumps are scared of losing to a woman and an elf.”

She looked to Legolas with a low voice. “No harm intend, I just want to get them going." She grinned. "Help me get this into the water? Just fallow my lead and I'll show you what to do. Cool?”
