As always, Legolas was wide awake when the note came. Of course, since he never truly slept, this wasn't much of a surprise. He jumped off the couch he had been resting on and ran to the door. It had become a bit of a game to him, to see if he could get there fast enough to catch the golem in the act of pinning the note to his door. He had yet to do it, and today was no exception. By the time he got there, the thing was long gone. No trace was left of it, except of course the note.

It was no surprise to him what it said, and he even knew what one of the things was that he was supposed to be doing. The elves made wonderful canoes, though of course he'd never even remotely heard of kayaks. He grinned broadly, beyond pleased by the summons. He really liked meeting new people, and he'd met several through activities such as this. Of course, not all of them were still on Mirage, but he chose not to think of that.

A quick shower later, he dressed himself in his typical tunic and leggings. His sharp silver knives he kept in their place, but the bow he regretfully left behind. Just like when he'd gone white river rafting, he knew the weapon would be useless with all the water splashing around. He couldn't help but feel a bit naked without it, though, as he stepped out the door for breakfast.

It wasn't long before he was at the appointed spot by the shore of the lake. There were several boats around, and he looked at the curiously. They didn't seem to be made out of wood, but rather some strange substance he'd never seen before. Thoughtfully, he went over and tapped on it. The sound made him laugh. Then, he stood back and waited, hoping others would come soon.

Spike frowned as he opened his door scowling down the corridor. He'd just been heading to bed after making the room his own, white washing the windows so no stray sunlight could get him when he'd heard footsteps, nearly silent but there. He glared up and down the corridor, seeing no one, but a note. It was beckoning him to some group pow wow activity, he snorted. Kayaking/Canoeing? Didn't they see the blaring sunlight? He sighed, noting it's location, he might make it there without becoming dust. He frowned, just to check it out of course.

After a pint of blood, which was pigs blood oddly he frowned, before grabbing a few blankets off the bed. This place better be worth it. He posed in the shade of the door, making sure he was completely covered by the blankets as he dashed for the boat house, which wasn't too far, being careful of his footing, and readjusting his blankets if anything smoked. He made it to the shadow of the boat house, and watched some tall blonde guy. He tapped the boat and laughed, he cocked his eyebrow watching him from the shadows, clocking his steady heart beat, and his scent, which was different to normal humans silently. He knew other people would be coming too, so he decided to wait it out and see who'd arrive, the boathouse gave him plenty of shade and he had his blankets.
