Michiru had spent a good hour or so posting notes around the resort. She'd put one up in all the common rooms, plus one at the restaurant and the theatre itself. Hopefully everyone who would be interested would see them. She wasn't sure exactly how many fellow musicians there were here, or how many would come, but if there was one thing Michiru was sure of, it was of the ability of music to connect people. And right now, she was feeling a need to connect, after the ordeal of the kidnapping and everything.

She made sure to arrive at the theatre well before the time she'd posted to get things set up. She hadn't been sure about using the theatre; it seemed a bit too formal for the type of get-together she intended, but the acoustics were perfect, and there really wasn't any better space. So, she set about getting things set up. Several of the resort's ever present golems appeared to help, carrying out music stands and chairs. Michiru wasn't sure what kind of instruments people would be playing or needing, but she figured they could figure that out when they arrived. Two of the golems pushed a rather nice grand piano out on the stage, and Michiru felt a twinge of regret that she hadn't asked Haruka to come as well. But it wasn't fair for her to always be dragging the blond to these kind of things, and while she was quite an accomplished pianist, Haruka didn't share Michiru's deep love for music.

Satisfied that everything was set up as best as it could be, Michiru shooed the golems away and took out her violin. With practiced ease she tuned it and tucked it under her chin. She took a few minutes to just warm up, playing a few scales and easy exercises before she began playing in earnest. Just a slow, sad piece that fit her current mood. She hadn't gotten too far in before she saw the door open and someone come in.

“Fate is a double edged sword, it seems. At least you are able to play your violin how you wish it now.” Yvaine said softly, soothingly.

Whether or not Giselle realized it, she always seemed to tap the tambourine against her thigh at the perfect moments, thus accentuating the end of a line she had sung. Although it may not have been the perfect instrument to accompany the star woman’s voice, it did her song no harm. It even added a little something.

The gentle playing of the violin, mingled with the recorder to create a beautiful song to back up the unearthly voice of the star. Her song was simple- one written by man, translated by a star, and put to music by the same star and her sister. It was beautiful in it’s own right, and perhaps even more beautiful for the voice that projected it.

“Thank you, Giselle. That means much to me. We shall have to meet again.” The smile on Yvaine’s lips was sincere, and she hoped that she would see the ginger haired female some day in the future.

When she had left, Legolas seemed to be the next to give his parting words. The evening star bowed gracefully toward the elf. “Sir Elf, I shall count you as a friend ever after, for I see in your eyes that you are a kind soul and a lover of music as am I.” Yvaine knew she hoped to see him as well.

It seemed that the musical gathering was at an end. It had been a fun-filled adventure of sorts, and she had met three persons who delighted her. Her glow was vibrant with her joy. At last she turned to the aqua-haired violinist. “It has been a pleasure to play and sing with you. I hope we might again meet. Farewell.” She bowed and descended the steps, leaving the theatre with a sense of peace she had not felt since she had fallen from her home sky.
