Michiru had spent a good hour or so posting notes around the resort. She'd put one up in all the common rooms, plus one at the restaurant and the theatre itself. Hopefully everyone who would be interested would see them. She wasn't sure exactly how many fellow musicians there were here, or how many would come, but if there was one thing Michiru was sure of, it was of the ability of music to connect people. And right now, she was feeling a need to connect, after the ordeal of the kidnapping and everything.

She made sure to arrive at the theatre well before the time she'd posted to get things set up. She hadn't been sure about using the theatre; it seemed a bit too formal for the type of get-together she intended, but the acoustics were perfect, and there really wasn't any better space. So, she set about getting things set up. Several of the resort's ever present golems appeared to help, carrying out music stands and chairs. Michiru wasn't sure what kind of instruments people would be playing or needing, but she figured they could figure that out when they arrived. Two of the golems pushed a rather nice grand piano out on the stage, and Michiru felt a twinge of regret that she hadn't asked Haruka to come as well. But it wasn't fair for her to always be dragging the blond to these kind of things, and while she was quite an accomplished pianist, Haruka didn't share Michiru's deep love for music.

Satisfied that everything was set up as best as it could be, Michiru shooed the golems away and took out her violin. With practiced ease she tuned it and tucked it under her chin. She took a few minutes to just warm up, playing a few scales and easy exercises before she began playing in earnest. Just a slow, sad piece that fit her current mood. She hadn't gotten too far in before she saw the door open and someone come in.

Giselle beamed at those around her. It had been great fun and she wanted to do another song. She was amazed at the way they all seemed to play their instruments. They blended well, but all had their own sound. And they all seemed to complement her voice. She wished once again, that she could play an instrument so that she could play while Yvaine sang. The woman had a voice beyond any earthly beauty Giselle could recall and she wanted to hear her sing rather than stunt herself with humming.

"Yvaine, I should like to hear you sing a song." She looked around for something she might be able to play with little to no difficulty. She was very musically inclined, but didn't have experience playing any instruments. She drifted away from the piano and looked at some of the other musical objects. They all looked rather complicated and she wasn't sure she'd be able to make anything resembling a tune come from some of them.

"Your playing is really beautiful, Michiru. If I had money, I surely would pay to hear you play." She smiled, looking up from one of the instruments that looked so strange she wasn't sure how any music could be made from it. She picked it up and squeezed the instrument together. A wheezy high pitched note came from the acordian and she winced before putting it down again.

She sat down at a full drum set and picked up the drumsticks that had been resting on the stool. She experimentally tapped the cymballs and listened to the pleasant crashing sound that echoed until the cymballs stilled. She tapped lightly on one of the smaller drums and smiled at the deeper sound it made. When her foot touched the pedal that caused the bass drum to sound, her blue eyes widened and she laughed.

She wasn't sure any of the drums would complement Yvaine's voice so she stood back up and replaced the drumsticks on the stool. For now, she would just listen. She returned to where she'd stood before, beside the piano, and waited for another round of their musical endeavors to begin.
