Michiru had spent a good hour or so posting notes around the resort. She'd put one up in all the common rooms, plus one at the restaurant and the theatre itself. Hopefully everyone who would be interested would see them. She wasn't sure exactly how many fellow musicians there were here, or how many would come, but if there was one thing Michiru was sure of, it was of the ability of music to connect people. And right now, she was feeling a need to connect, after the ordeal of the kidnapping and everything.

She made sure to arrive at the theatre well before the time she'd posted to get things set up. She hadn't been sure about using the theatre; it seemed a bit too formal for the type of get-together she intended, but the acoustics were perfect, and there really wasn't any better space. So, she set about getting things set up. Several of the resort's ever present golems appeared to help, carrying out music stands and chairs. Michiru wasn't sure what kind of instruments people would be playing or needing, but she figured they could figure that out when they arrived. Two of the golems pushed a rather nice grand piano out on the stage, and Michiru felt a twinge of regret that she hadn't asked Haruka to come as well. But it wasn't fair for her to always be dragging the blond to these kind of things, and while she was quite an accomplished pianist, Haruka didn't share Michiru's deep love for music.

Satisfied that everything was set up as best as it could be, Michiru shooed the golems away and took out her violin. With practiced ease she tuned it and tucked it under her chin. She took a few minutes to just warm up, playing a few scales and easy exercises before she began playing in earnest. Just a slow, sad piece that fit her current mood. She hadn't gotten too far in before she saw the door open and someone come in.

Legolas smiled at the bright, fiery-haired woman, glad that she was so pleased. To be truthful, Aragorn wasn't always the most social being ever, but he knew that a sort of bond could be formed with someone over the course of something so traumatic. He knew, because he still thought very fondly of the dark-haired waterbender who had helped him rescue his Ranger and his friend Giselle. If Aragorn and Giselle were to be friends, that wouldn't be a bad thing at all. If anyone could pull the sometimes gruff Ranger out of his shell...

He settled down at the piano, deciding he liked the sound of it. It was like nothing else he had in his world, but he had a good enough understanding of music, and a quick mind and agile fingers. He would be competant, if not amazing, though given time he could probably do very well with the instrument. "Well, then, I shall do my best with this strange piano contraption." He plunked out a little tune, which came out at least sounding recognizable as the one that he and Giselle had sung together, he in Elven and she in English. He cast a smile to the redheaded woman and gestured her over to him.

"Some sing with me?" To be honest, he himself was a little shaken by the beautiful song of the star woman, but what else could he have expected from her? He sort of thought Giselle might be feeling a little the same, and he wondered if they could offer each other comfort. "My Lady Seahair, do you think you could pick up the tune that I just played on that... instrument you have?" Again, unfamiliar, though he had found it quite beautiful. "Perhaps if we were to focus entirely on one tune, we could create something truly beautiful."
