When: Early afternoon
What: Making music and meeting fellow musicians.
Where: Inside the theatre
Rating: PG-13 just to be safe
Status: Complete

Michiru had spent a good hour or so posting notes around the resort. She'd put one up in all the common rooms, plus one at the restaurant and the theatre itself. Hopefully everyone who would be interested would see them. She wasn't sure exactly how many fellow musicians there were here, or how many would come, but if there was one thing Michiru was sure of, it was of the ability of music to connect people. And right now, she was feeling a need to connect, after the ordeal of the kidnapping and everything.

She made sure to arrive at the theatre well before the time she'd posted to get things set up. She hadn't been sure about using the theatre; it seemed a bit too formal for the type of get-together she intended, but the acoustics were perfect, and there really wasn't any better space. So, she set about getting things set up. Several of the resort's ever present golems appeared to help, carrying out music stands and chairs. Michiru wasn't sure what kind of instruments people would be playing or needing, but she figured they could figure that out when they arrived. Two of the golems pushed a rather nice grand piano out on the stage, and Michiru felt a twinge of regret that she hadn't asked Haruka to come as well. But it wasn't fair for her to always be dragging the blond to these kind of things, and while she was quite an accomplished pianist, Haruka didn't share Michiru's deep love for music.

Satisfied that everything was set up as best as it could be, Michiru shooed the golems away and took out her violin. With practiced ease she tuned it and tucked it under her chin. She took a few minutes to just warm up, playing a few scales and easy exercises before she began playing in earnest. Just a slow, sad piece that fit her current mood. She hadn't gotten too far in before she saw the door open and someone come in.

All elves have a great love of music. Just like their love of beauty, the stars, and their longing for the sea, it is an inherent part of all the elves on Middle Earth. It was rare that Legolas wouldn't be wandering around with a song on his lips, and when he wasn't, it really wasn't a good sign. So, when he'd seen the note, he couldn't have been happier, really. Many good things had happened to him while on Mirage, but this was among the best.

It had been several hours before the appointed time, but to an elf, that was nothing. It passed quickly in archery practice, and soon enough, it was time to go. Since music was very much a part of him, and he wanted to make a good impression on those other musicians who came, he headed back to his room to clean up, and to dress a bit more formally. As always, when he wanted to make a good impression, he ended up looking every inch the prince in his forest green velvet tunic and silver coronet. Normally, he would have left his bow in his room, but after the kidnapping, he wasn't about to do that.

Soon enough, he was headed toward the theatre where everyone was supposed to meet. Idly, he wondered who else would be there, but had no concern about it. As far as he was concerned, anyone who liked music couldn't possibly be all bad. He pushed open the door, and was greeted by two familar faces. The sea-girl, and the beautiful redhead. He considered them both friends, and walked up to them without hesitation.

"Lady Michiru, I did not know that you played. So beautiful. And my Lady Giselle, a pleasure as always." He bowed to both women, a smile on his face. "Which of you conceived of this notion? I am delighted, of course."

Michiru's eyes lit up when she saw Legolas enter. "My dear Prince!" she said, bowing. "So glad you could join us. I never mentioned I played?" She glanced down at the violin, idly stroking the warm wood. Music was such a huge part of her life, she was surprised she'd never mentioned it to the elf before.

"Before coming here I was planning on being a professional musician" she said. "Since that isn't a possibility anymore, I thought the least I could do was share talents with my fellow musicians here"
