Ginny walked through the garden behind the Burrow. The house was too crowded for her liking right now. A lot of friends were there and the whole family, or better what was left of it. In the distance Ginny could see fireworks. It had been like that ever since the wizarding world heard of Voldemorts death. Of course she understood that it was a reason to celebrate. Part of her was even happy. The war was finally over and Harry was free now. Those were definitely good things. There hopefully would be no more unnecessary deaths now and once everything had calmed down a little she'd go and talk to Harry.

Right now Ginny however didn't feel happy and didn't want to see the fireworks of celebrating people. And she couldn't stand to stay inside any longer, where a huge photo of Fred was standing in the room. He was laughing and joking in it. George said it was what Fred would have wanted. A photo of him that cheered them all up. Well, it didn't cheer her up right now. There had been so many funerals this week. Tonks & Remus and then Freds were the last ones she went to. The war was over, but it cost so much.

Sighing Ginny tried to push away these thoughts. They wouldn't want her to be sad. They'd want her to be happy and celebrate. She would have to try harder.

Turning around she made a step forward to walk back to the house. But her foot didn't find solid ground to step onto. Ginny lost her balance and then fell forward, right into a pool. She was under water for a few moments, until she finally made it to the surface, coughing and spitting water out.

"Bloody hell", she muttered and then looked around. She so wasn't in the Burrows garden anymore.

"GEORGE", she yelled while trying to get to a ladder so she could climb out of the pool. What kind of trick was this now? Her brother had tried to cheer her up in Freds name the entire week. What had he come up with now? A portkey that would dump her into a pool???!

"Very funny! Wait until I get you!"

Ginny raised an eyebrow at Tonks behavior. "What are you up to?", she asked curiously.

Seeing the look on Tonks face at the news Ginny frowned. Maybe she shouldn't have said it just like that. Or she shouldn't have said it at all.

"Yes. You were so happy." She sighed, remembering how the two of them had been together. "You really brought some colour into his life", she said grinning slightly. And he into hers as well, she thought remembering how mousy Tonks had looked when she was all upset and sad because of Remus turning her down in the beginning. "And Teddy is really cute."

Ginny then decided to change the subject. Tonks probably needed some time to process those news.

"So, what are we going to do now?" She knew exactly what she wanted to do. "Any idea where Fred & George might be?"

"Just planning mischief, as always." The Auror was still a little distracted, but the idea of a really good prank could always cheer her up. "Fred and George are going to be really shocked, don't you think? I just want to be around to see that."

She bit at her lower lip before shaking her head. "Remus wouldn't be interested in me, and I'm not... a baby? Teddy?" She worried at the skin of her lower lip as she mulled this over. "I... we died together, then? Since we shared a funeral? I..." She shook her head once more. "No. I don't want to hear anymore."

Turning abruptly on her heel, violently disturbed, the pink-haired Auror headed to the door. "Come on, I'll show you the plaque and we'll find your key and then try to track down your brothers."

Not as shocked as I would have been to see them if I hadn't known, Ginny thought.

Ginny looked at Tonks again and nodded. "Yes and he really was. Besides, why wouldn't he be. You're cool", she said with a grin, trying to lighten up the situation.

"Ok, let's go", she agreed and followed Tonks.

"So, Snapes here, too? What's he like without all the double spy stuff?", she asked. She couldn't really imagine Snape being a nice person, but he had risked his life to help Harry and died in the process. So there had to be a good person somewhere in there.

She smiled weakly and shrugged, but really wasn't willing to go into it further. The truth was, this was all going to take a long time for even the cheerful, bubbly Auror to acclimitize to. She couldn't talk about it just yet, maybe not for awhile.

Tonks led the way out into the hallway, doing her usual thing of tripping just about every odd step or so. Her goal, though, was one that she had walked before. She seemed to end up greeting people quite frequently, and having to show them the plaque.

"Snape? Oh, he's a bloody jerk, is what he is. Tried to tell me I shouldn't try to get back, even though there's a war going on and my friends and family were in danger..." That got dangerously near an awkward topic, and she shied away from it. "I still think he's the same old greasy git."
