Aragorn and Legolas had spent most of the night and morning hours awake, talking, just staying close. They knew they would need their rest, so Aragorn dozed off in the arms of the elf, while Legolas fell into the waking reverie of his people, that was close to sleep and yet very different. Aragorn had never understood it, being a human. But, suddenly, Aragorn had awoken with a jolt, sweat covered his body and his breathing was harsh.

Something.. the feeling of dread and danger was so bad right now he felt like he was suffocating on it. He felt he couldn't breathe. Silently, quickly he moved from the bed and let the Elf continue in his rest. Though he could tell the thoughts of the elf were dark, troubled. And he didn't really want to leave him, but he couldn't stay in bed any longer.

Focus, he told himself as he looked at Legolas. He was so close to doing something he should not. And he was shaking needing to breathe, needing to clear his head, free his mind so he could focus. So he decided to go for a walk. Maybe get breakfast and even bring some to the Elf. He left quietly, planning to get back quickly. Not wanting to be apart just in case.

He found his way to a small place with food, a cafe. Not that he knew what it was and as he walked in he looked at the array of food and didn't know what it was. He frowned, pursing his lips quite confused. What was a scone?

The questions were coming a mile a minute and it made him chuckle since he was not quite used to this rapid firing of things his way. At least not words. Arrows, swords, spears, yes, words not so much.

His sword, resting at his side was the only weapon the Ranger decided to bring with him this morning which was rather stupid given the strong sense of danger and doom that was lurking within his mind. His hand, unconsciously went to the hilt of th elarge weapon. Though not to show alarm he kept his focus on the young woman in front of him.

" In my world I would be King, after the war of Middle Earth.." Keep talking he told himself to keep the focus off what he could feel and now hear was coming. Rustling from not too far away had him standing, drawing his sword from it's sheath just as two creatures appeared from the bushes.

Creatures of the like in which Aragorn had never seen.Even the Orcs didn't compare to this. Was this the danger I sensed earlier? The ranger asked himself quietly as he prepared to protect the young woman beside of him on the grass. He had a strong sense of honor, duty and to want to protect the innocent. It was his job. He went through great lengths to keep those around him safe. Especially someone as kind and innocent as Giselle. His focus on the creatures as they approached faster weapons drawn, his own sword coming to rest above his head poised to attack.

"Giselle, get up and leave this place. I have this handled." For someone who was about to be attacked and the danger lurking right in front of them, Aragorn's voice was even, firm and strong. No hint of fear within it.

Then he was engaged within the battle with these two creatures his focus and attention now on the Lizardmen and not on the young woman. Little did Aragorn know that this was just the beginning and that this was part of a larger plan by someone still lurking within shadows.

She grinned as he chuckled at her rapidfire questions. She took another small bite of her scone and set her tea down on the grass next to her. "King?! Really? Wow. I have met so many people here with Royal blood. More than there ever were in my world." She mused, mostly to herself, unaware of the encroaching danger.

Aragorn was only able to answer one of her questions before she noticed some rather fearsome looking lizardmen heading their way. She recoiled visibly and then scrambled to her feet, knocking over her cup of tea and dropping her scone on the ground in the process. She put a hand to her chest and stepped back, watching as Aragorn engaged himself in combat with the ugly creatures.

She didn't want to run and leave Aragorn by himself, but she knew she would be no help to him, and possibly only hinder and endager him if she stayed. Butterflies galloped through her stomach and she felt as if she was going to throw up the small bit of scone and tea she'd had that morning. She turned, tears forming in her eyes and ran blindly down the other side of the small hill they'd been breakfasting on.

She stumbled, tripping on the hem of her dress and gathered up handfuls to keep it out of her way as she ran. She turned once she reached the bottom and looked up to see Aragorn fighting the lizard creatures off. She opened her mouth to scream for help when she noticed Wolverine. "Sir! Help him, please?!" She pointed up the hill to where Aragorn stood, fending them off with his sword.
