Who: Gabrielle and Dahak.
What: The Kidnapping- Day 16
When: Mid-morning
Where: The stables, for now.
Rating: PG:13[for now!]
Status: Incomplete

Gabrielle had not been herself as of late, she was distant and most of the time refused to leave the room, taking comfort in writing her scrolls. Her mind was plagued with thoughts of Hope, the memories of her daughter not to mention her own faults as a mother. She hated that she had let Hope down. the thoughts and memories only seemed to bring her more pain and depression. She hadn't found the right time to talk to Xena about it, the warrior usually not around much either, though she usually knew where she was. Leading some training session. The bard tried not to let it bother her because she knew deep down Xena couldn’t pass up an opportunity to train. After all, she was a warrior.

Waking up, she found herself alone, wondering where Xena was off to today. The bard decided she wasn’t going to spend the day inside, though it was cloudy outside, she wasn’t going to let it bother her. The amazon queen needed out, needed fresh air and something to distract her. She got up and quickly showered then got dressed before leaving the room, venturing out to the tables, hoping by chance that she would find Xena along the way but the warrior princess was nowhere in sight.

She felt that things had changed since the day her feelings came out but hoped that wasn’t the case. The last thing she wanted was for Xena and her to drift apart because of shared feelings. Entering the stables, she walked over to where Argo was being held. She reached for a brush and moved into the stall. “Hello girl.” She whispered, brushing the horses main and her coat, sensing that Argo was enjoying the attention.

Dahak didn't need to sleep, or eat. The power supplied to him by the Kryptonian was beautiful, even more so because he could feel how much utter agony Clark was in. The screams muted by the earth below were like a symphony to the Lord of Darkness' ears. Sweet, beautiful, terrible pain. And there was so much more to come. He could already feel his minions prowling to begin their tasks today. Yes, little did any of them suspect that all they were doing with this was feeding him, ensuring that there was so much chaos in this one little planet that he would not need to feed for some time yet to come. And if he managed to keep Clark alive... it would last all the much longer. He idly wondered on whether or not unholy means were a way of keeping the Kryptonian alive without violating the boundaries of this world... after all, who was to say alive really meant not zombified?

But there was more on his mind than just his little battery that he kept stored under ground, and far more than the chaos that was slowly starting to build like a thunderstorm on the horizon. She was here. And in the midst of all of the chaos abound today, her usual protector wouldn't be there to save her... not that Dahak feared the warrior princess, so much that there would be at the very least an implied feeling of guilt there... she wasn't present to save her partner, the one she cared so very much for. And that and her own anger in herself would be so very satisfying... he couldn't wait to drink it in. He'd already planned out that sublime moment when he would see the warrior Princess' face again.. but he was getting ahead of himself...

What he wanted, more than this whole kidnapping affair, more than even his little kryptonian battery. The little sidekick was something of an old flame to him, even though she would never see it that way. After all, it was she who had birthed his evil into the world, even before he himself could be present. She who had so willingly lied to her best friend about it. She who had gotten the son of her best friend killed... because of her lie. And yet her soul, tainted by darkness, still strove for light, still tried to do what was good. There was still so much inside of her that was left to corrupt, years of helping people, living... righteously. The word itself almost made him sick to think, but he was too excited now... she was heading away from the others... he could feel it.

Dahak didn't slide out of his room as normal, but teleported from it, to the edge of the barn. Watching the red haired warrior as she stood alone in the barn, with the horses. They knew what he was, but the fear that he produced in animals was so great that they wouldn't scream out, merely shiver, and back away from Gabrielle's touch, trying to get as far away from the Father of Lies as they could, in the hopes that he would simply ignore them and leave them be. Luckily for the mindless beasts, he was not here for them, but rather the innocent creature that stood amongst them. Not being an animal, she wouldn't get that same feeling of dread until he touched her skin... and he wasn't ready for that... not yet... he needed to drink in this sensation a bit longer.

"Oh..." he said softly. When Gabrielle turned she would not see the mask that all the kidnappers had seen, but rather the form that Dahak possessed, looking dark and attractive. He offered her a shy smile, but it was obvious that he was looking at her in the way that men looked at women when they were interested. His eyes ran down her curves lightly before looking into hers once again. "I didn't realize anyone was in here this early..." he said smoothely, biting his lip softly as he took a step further into the barn, looking at her. "Do you come here often?"

As Argo moved away, Gabrielle looked puzzled, wondering what was up with the horse, which only moments ago was enjoying being brushed. The bard set the brush down, a chill entering the room, causing her to shiver. Something suddenly didn’t feel right to the bard. She let her green eyes travel down, noticing she didn’t have her sai’s with her. Up until that very moment, she didn’t think she needed them. This place had almost no threat so carrying around a pair of sai’s attached to her boots was really just for show.

Sensing someone behind her, she froze, hoping to the Gods that they were just getting their horse and leaving. However, hearing the deep voice behind her, that caused her to turn around, her gaze locking with the strangers, a uneasy, small smile crossing her face, which quickly disappeared, figuring this man was powerful, at least something deep inside her was telling her he was.

The bard watched as his eyes traveled down her figure, a chill running over her skin, wishing she had her weapons or even a staff. At the question if she came here often, she slowly shook her head, taking a step backwards, wanting to keep as much distance between the stranger and herself. She was being slightly paranoid but it had taken her only a few seconds to realize that they were alone and he was looking at her made her uncomfortable.

“No. Not usually.” She replied, not even bothering to explain why she was here today. “I haven’t seen you around before, did you just arrive?” She asked, curiously, suddenly wishing Xena would come into the barn but she knew the warrior wasn’t coming. The bard stood there, feeling such darkness move throughout the barn, which seemed to just creep up and down her entire body. It was something she hadn’t felt, not since before she found out she was pregnant with Hope.

The dark god could see the uneasiness in her, the way that she already sensed that something was wrong. What a shame that she'd sensed such a thing, he would have liked to have taken some time to get to know her a little better before she'd panicked like a rabbit, but even so, it was refreshing. Yes, Gabrielle had such a delightful sense of fear. He gave her a reassuring smile, and directed a little of his power her way, enough that she would start to feel at least a little comfortable. Maybe, after all, it was just her nerves, her mind playing tricks with her, this place had been so very stressful, she was with Xena, but they couldn't escape... and the mind did play tricks on you didn't it? So very many reasons to mistrust someone who probably meant her no harm...

"Yes... just the other day I arrived... this is such a wonderful place..." He said calmly as he moved towards her, slowly enough as to not frighten her. Inside though, he was tingling with excitement... Gabrielle... she was really here in front of him. Thinking about the child the two of them had concieved, no less... that beautiful child of evil. What a shame that Hope had met such an unfortunate end... but there was still time to sow the seeds of darkness... he knew Gabrielle could bear his children now... all he needed to do was make sure that neither she nor her little warrior princess could kill it before it was birthed... and this time he could be around to make sure it was raised properly... ah, but that was for another day... no, he would take his time with this, enjoy it... savor it.

"Your horse is lovely..." he said, pointing lightly at her mare, who looked slightly spooked. He tilted his head slowly. "I don't think I've ever seen one quite like it in my world... but I think... there might be something wrong with it's hoove, it almost looks like it's limping." He knew though she was feeling a little skittish, she would take the bait. After all, if there was one thing the little do gooder couldn't stand it was someone in pain, someone who might need her. An animal even more so... a part of him wanted to behead the horse in front of her just to hear her scream... but again... he had a mission, he had a purpose here... he wasn't about to blow it all in a single moment of pleasure... not when there was so much more fun to be had by taking her where he could drink in her torment unfettered for a while...

As she turned around she would suddenly feel something warm against her back, and feel the strangers arms wrap firmly around her waist, fingers teasing her bare flesh as they slid across. His firm chest pressed up against her back, and something about it would feel so utterly familiar about it that she might not notice his hand creeping up until it was too late. Without warning his fingers slid underneath the fabric of the loose top that she wore, and boldly grabbed her bare breast, kneading it in a way that would invite a sense of dejavu... especially in the fact that even though it seemed to be a stranger touching her, it would not be unpleasant as she would expect it... as a god of evil... lust was not outside of Dahak's domain...

"If I'd known you were here... I would have come sooner..." the man purred softly in her ear, as he pressed his lips close to her ear and whispered, his voice slowly sinking into blackness until it was the voice of darkness that she only heard in her nightmares, the voice that belonged to that which had nearly destroyed her, the one voice that above all others, she could never forget, nor completely get out of her mind...

"You have no idea how much I've missed you, Gabrielle..."

The Amazon Queen watched the stranger attentively, the way he moved towards her and watched her. It sent chills radiating through her body and she tried her best to mask the sudden fear she felt but it was no use. Hearing he just arrived, she nodded, wondering where he had come from. She had already met so many people from different places, some she had never even heard of. “It is wonderful.” She said, nonchalantly, attempting to keep her voice from quivering.

Get a grip over yourself, Gabrielle. she told herself, staying as calm as she could, despite the uneasy and bad feeling she had right now. As the man said something about the horse behind her, she glanced over her shoulder. “It’s my friend’s horse.” She replied, her brow furrowing at the words that something was wrong with Argo’s hoof. That prompted her to turn around to look, leaving her back completely open to the stranger. She knew that if something were wrong with Argo she had to tell Xena, the warrior would have flipped out on her if she hadn’t.

Feeling the strangers wrap around her waist, her breath hitched in her throat, her green eyes darting to look at him. She felt his hands moving over her and honestly felt as if she was going to be sick. The way he touched her brought such a familiar feelings and emotions forward, ones that had been haunting her dreams for the past few days. A whimper escaped her lips as her breasts were touched, squirming to get out of his grasp and away from him.

Xena… help me. she thought, almost to freaked out to utter those three words. They would simply do no good. The warrior princess couldn’t save her now, not when pure evil was pressed against her back, touching her in ways that she didn’t approve of, her skin crawling with disgust.

The bard swallowed hard, hearing his words, hearing her name escape his lips, the voice piercing her ears, making her stomach twist and turn, the stranger’s name flashing in her mind. “Dahak…” she whispered, licking at her bottom lip, swallowing hard again, her throat suddenly dry.

“Let me go.”

He grinned as he felt revulsion flow over her body, as well as her own body shiver. She knew his touch, and would remember it, but her squirming only made his actions more bold, and caused him to hold her tighter against his frame. She would feel him smelling her hair, and feel his surprisingly soft lips kissing the side of her neck even as she squirmed rather helplessly. He chuckled lightly as he heard her mental scream, and whispered eerily in her ear. "Xena's off somewhere... barely thinking about you right now, Gabrielle... training with one of her little friends here... I wonder how long it would take her to replace you, to find another little side kick to push around..."

"Yesssssss..." Dahak purred as she spoke his name aloud, grinning a little. Feeling her squirming against him, with such delightful fear in her heart. Oh, he'd forgotten the extent of how delightfully afraid Gabrielle could be of Dahak. He had almost made her into an evil creature once, and he could feel that fear writhing over her senses... but more the true fear of what he could DO. Xena had never experienced the true horror of what Dahak was capable of, and Hercules had gotten but a taste... but Gabrielle knew... she knew what the other ones did not, he could feel it in every little shiver that traveled up and down her sweet little spine. Oh yes, he'd definately missed her...

"Let you go...?" his dark voice growled, and his hand slipped from her chest, for a moment making it seem as if he was actually thinking about leaving her alone. But then suddenly his hand came up and tugged her top over the curve of her chest, exposing her to the cool air of the barn, so that anyone who might enter could have seen her like that... what if Xena caught her in a barn, with a man like that... what would her friend really think? Without warning then he spun her around and pushed her up against a wall, pressing his body to hers, his eyes starting to glow a pale yellow as the pupils seemed to devour the rest of the iris.

"And just why should I let you go, Gabrielle, when I'm going to have so very much fun? If I didn't no better, I'd think you've forgotten who it is that I am... and what it is that I do..." Without warning he grabbed her by the hair roughly and made her tilt her head up towards him. "So tell me, Gabrielle, what makes you think for a moment I'm going to ever let you go again?"

Gabrielle swallowed hard, feeling his kiss, his touch, it driving her insane, making her want to do nothing but throw up right then and there. However, hearing that Xena was off elsewhere, not thinking about her, stabbed deep at her heart. She fought back tears, not liking the idea of Xena replacing her but she couldn’t object if that was what the warrior wished to do. The bard didn’t want to believe him, she couldn’t. “You’re wrong.” She whispered, though she wondered how right he was. Xena hadn’t been around much. It made her think and she didn’t like the thoughts that flowed through her scared mind.

As she was revealed to everyone, at least anyone that might enter, the bard whimpered low in her throat, remembering the first time she had experience his horror, his power had danced across her skin, his seed filling her. She had never experienced anything like it and had hoped she would never have to but all that was about to change. As she was turned her around, her glassy green eyes met his glowing orbs, fear twisting her stomach into knots as his cold voice hit her ears, questioning why he should let her go.

She looked down, wanting to look at anything but his dark, evil gaze, it chilling her all the way down to her tiptoes, making her knees weaken. There was no way she could forget who he was nor forget the type of child she had given birth too. As her hair was yanked, she met his gaze, no words coming out of her mouth. She couldn’t utter any sentence with Xena’s name in due to the fact that she was starting to loose faith in her warrior, for the first time in a very long time and maybe it was just because an evil forced had her pinned against the wall.

“I--” She cut off, her voice quivering with just one word, not knowing what to say seeing as how no matter what answer she gave, she already had a feeling she wouldn’t get away from Dahak. “Don’t know.” She whispered, meeting his gaze with her own terror stricken eyes.

The feeling in the pit of her heart as her thoughts didn't back up her words only made him chuckle a little. He could feel the doubt in her heart and it fed him, caused shivers to flow down his spine. As she tried to convince herself, he merely shook his head at her, and grinned... "No, you tell yourself that, but I can feel the doubt inside of your heart, Gabrielle... you know that she's been training with others, ignoring you... you know that she could easily find another... men and women both chased after her in our world... why would it be any different here? People flock to her... while no one notices poor little Gabrielle... no one, except me... you know that I've always... always been the one watching you..."

His words were like poison dripping in her ears, and there was a madness to them, a madness that seemed to make sense when she thought about it, though the revulsion was still there. Ultimately, she was good, a creature of light... and against one of her caliber she might have stood a chance... but he was the ultimate darkness, which could snuff out any light, no matter how bright it was. His prescence on her felt overpowering, and it only made him laugh when she tried to look away from him, tried to stop those dark eyes from filling up all of her vision. She might be repulsed by him, but all things had darkness in their hearts... even Gabrielle... especially now... and even if most of her was repulsed by him, a little part of her would be drawn to the corruption he represented.

As she whispered that she didn't know, she would see his grin spread wider across her face, and he shook his head slowly at her. "It's okay, Gabrielle... Xena abandoned you... left you alone, where I would get you... anyone would understand in your place... anyone would know that you tried your very hardest to fight me... but fighting me will only get you pain..." he tugged on her hair sharply as if to illustrate that fact, shivering a little as the sadism caused shivers to flow down his spine. All things evil fueled him, and in this abuse of an innocent soul, there was so very much evil to be had. He came up closer, and she would feel his fingertips play against her bared skin, the swell of her chest, taunting it lightly.

"It doesn't have to be just pain between us, my sweet Gabrielle..." He whispered, stepping closer to her so that she could feel the heat of his body, his face lowering down to whisper against the skin of her cheek as he smelled her skin, her fear, felt the way her body shuddered and trembled against him. "You don't have to make this a bad experience..." oh, he would delight in something like that, but corrupting her soul was a far more enticing task. Yes, he would give up the raw torture that he might reign down upon her for the chance to have her give up and join him. Slowly he slid closer to her now, and whispered in her ear. "When we were together before, I was but a spirit, an essence... lacking the form necessary to do more... now... we can be so much more... physical..."

Gabrielle furrowed her brow as if she fought to find sense that he was lieing to her, just trying to twist her heart and mind about Xena but the truth was clear as day and right in front of her face. The warrior princess hadn’t been around, much to busy training with other’s. The last thing the bard ever wanted to do was admit that Dahak was right, let any part of darkness inflict her. After all, she stood for goodness and light. Of course, she began to wonder if it was her fault that Xena was around. She had been distant the past few days but still, she didn’t see much of the warrior.

“Why would you be watching me? Of what interest am I to you?” She questioned, her green eyes meeting his once more, the evil that she saw making her want to break eye contact right away. It was torturing her on the inside, every inch of being crawling with his evil power, feeling as if she was loosing who she was. That feeling only intensified as the words, ‘Xena abandoned you,’ hit the bard’s ears.

That sent a rage within her, one she hadn’t felt since the Furies drove her to stab Eve in the back with her own sai, one she hadn’t felt since the warrior wanted to kill Hope. She had done everything to protect Hope but couldn’t. Dahak’s touch snapped her from her thoughts, her eyes darting back up to look at him, pain and fear reflecting in her eyes, realizing she wasn’t going to get out of this.

Swallowing hard, she set her slightly shaking hands on his chest, wanting distance between them but as he moved in closer, she knew she wasn’t going to get that distance that she sought. Evil was going to consume whether the bard liked the idea or not. A tear slid down her cheek, waiting any moment to hear Xena call out her name, save her from this but that was something that would never come.

“I don’t want it to hurt anymore.” She whispered, her soul and heart having weighed down with the pain of her nightmares and now the very idea of Xena abandoning her was destroying her on the inside. So much that she actually found herself taking comfort in the fact that Dahak’s arms were around her but that would mean she was giving herself over to the dark side, something she knew she couldn’t nor wanted to do.

Remembering the power that flowed over when they were together, Dahak, of course in spirit form, it made her wonder what he was like now, a new sense of fear and uneasy rushing over the Amazon queen. She already had a feeling that she was going to find out what it was like, even if she didn’t want it. Gabrielle found herself quiet, her breathing coming shallow, more out of nerves.

“I’m guessing… I don’t have much of a choice, do I?” She questioned when she found her voice, swallowing hard, waiting for what was to come next.

Gabrielle fixed her clothes, feeling disgusted with herself. She had given in way to easily, let the event happen as if she wanted it and for a moment, she had but she was almost sure, her mind had been playing tricks on her. She moved around the room to find that there were no doors. She was stuck. The bard took a in a deep, shaky breath, feeling panic overwhelm her. Freezing as Dahak began to speak; she slowly turned around to face him, avoiding meeting his eyes all together. She didn't want to fall for any more tricks.

Xena’s name hit her ears and weighed heavy on her heart as the images of what just happened flashed in her mind. She closed her eyes tight, her hands coming up to her face as she shook her head. “No… stop it.” She said, biting her lip, now truly scared what Xena’s reaction would be. Just imagining the words, the warrior’s face broke her heart and brought tears to her eyes. The bard had given herself over to him freely and now she was going to loose the only person that ever mattered to her.

“Let me out of here.” She practically begged as she turned back to look at the walls, which held no doors. She had no idea what she would do if she got out, probably run to take a shower, wash away this experience though it would forever haunt her. That was she was almost positive of. How could I do this to Xena? she questioned herself, her forehead leaning against the wall as she hit the palm of her hand against it as if some door was just going to appear and she didn’t Dahak was going to let her go freely, not after what just happened.

Locked in Dahak's room, far away from the prying eyes that might have seen them, the half naked body of Dahak stretched lazily as he watched Gabrielle frantically searching for a way out. It was interesting, the fear that suddenly came over her body. How very delightful to watch adjusing her clothes in an attempt to cover herself after what she did. Ah, how like Adam and Eve, realizing that they were naked together in the garden of Eden. Sadly for her, nothing that she would ever do would fully get rid of this moment, what she'd done, what she had allowed herself to become. And it was with that thought that Dahak felt the need to show her exactly what she would remember...

He smirked as she trembled beneath the vision, and the idea of what Xena would say to it. Ah, what would the precious little Warrior Princess become knowing that her partner had willingly given herself to what might be considered their greatest enemy? Would she cry, perhaps, or would that defiant look of anger cross over her features? Would she scowl and shut out those who cared about her, and get a little darker in her heart. Ares had a fondness for that one that Dahak had never understood, but then now that he could experience the joys of the flesh, perhaps Xena might be a worthy target...

Still, Gabrielle was here, and she, though she was freaking out, was still a worthy prize. The purer of the two, the one who had the longest to fall. Climbing from the sheets Dahak did little to hide his nudity as he walked towards her and put an hand on her arm. "Gabrielle..." he said softly, in a calming voice. "You know I don't want to keep you here, " the Prince of Darkness lied, "But I'm uncertain as to why you want to leave... moments ago you were wanting me not to stop, what happened in the span of a few heartbeats?"

Gabrielle watched as Dahak came towards her, feeling a sense of unease set in around her. She forced her gaze away as his arm draped around her, wishing nothing for it not to be there. The bard couldn’t wrap her mind around what had just happened. In her mind she saw how hurt Xena would be if she found out. It drove her crazy to even think about hurting her warrior. As his words entered her ears, she felt a chill run down her spine, the calming tone not relaxing her much.

“I shouldn’t have let this happen.” She whispered, licking at her bottom lip, shifting her eyes up to look at him but refused to hold his gaze. “I got caught up in your words. That’s all. I should not have hurt Xena like this.” The Amazon Queen decided as her green eyes looked around to see if a door may have just magically appeared, but there was no door.

“If you don’t want to keep me here then let me go. Make a door appear so I can go find Xena. She’ll be worried.” She said quietly, stepping away from Dahak. The bard began wonder if Xena had even noticed she was gone. She figured she had, at least she was hoping. She wasn’t sure how she was going to tell her about this situation with Dahak but she’d be honest with her warrior. She had too.

I’ll figure out how to tell her as soon as I get out of here. She thought, biting her lip nervously as she glanced over at the dark God. I shouldn’t have been so weak. the bard continued to think, her mind racing at this moment.

Dahak's whole face began to change as Gabrielle spoke. It wasn't that he loved her, or even that he was capable of such a thing, but rather, he had come to enjoy the sin the two of them had shared together. He'd had such high hopes for her, for what she could have possibly done, could have become if she'd allowed herself to slip down a little further down the dark path. True, she'd already sacrificed so much of herself to him by simply allowing herself to be seduced by him, but there was so much more to give. She'd not taken a life in anger, not destroyed someone for her own benefit... not conquered a land which was innocent and full of joy. There was so much further for her to go, and here she was, timidly backing away from the path he'd laid out for her even before he'd gotten her to do something that was truly awful.

His dark eyes narrowed slowly as she pratically begged him to go to Xena. "You'll meet Xena, soon enough, Gabrielle..." he said, the darkness in his voice returning as he stepped away from her and held out his hands to the room, from the floor a puddle of blackness, almost like ink seemed to seep at his feet and then crawled up his ankles, then legs, gravity seeming almost inversed as it trickled up his legs rather than down. Slowly his head rose to look at the ceiling as the last inches of it covered him, and once again he was in the silver mask that only the villians had so far seen. He would keep his identity secret for a while longer yet, it still had it's uses, especially if Xena acted the way he hoped she would.

Raising a hand up in Gabrielle's direction, she would feel her head start to throb, and from that point on, if she dared to think on the memories with him, she would find the details of what he had looked like, fuzzy. She would still remember giving herself to him, no, Dahak would not rob her of that sweet torment, however, the attractiveness of his features would now be gone, and she would realize the memory of his face had been taken from her. He hoped that it drove her mad, like a splinter in her brain, trying to figure out who he was, for indeed why else would he have erased the memory of himself except that she wouldn't know who he was to warn the others about him. Now he could approach Xena, or anyone, with the same disguise... none of them aware.

"It's a pity it has to be like this, Gabrielle... I would have made you my dark queen, to stand by my side while I dominated those here, and escape with me when I finally freed myself from this festering pit of a world... instead, I will have to use you, unfortunately.
