hi all! my name is emile and i have two dudes here. i was really busy with school up until now, but now that it's summer i'd like to reintro my guys and see who is still around because i have missed sooooo many intros.

this is jiang. he's a strigele who works as a personal trainer and takes a lot of naps. originally he was part of one of the big strigele houses, but with the retcon of the lius he is simply from a clan that operates out of china. jiang came to MC looking for a change of pace. and lots of naps.

he remains mostly the same. a little lazy, a little nosy, prone to old man wandering. still wondering how to cope with the sudden reappearance of the love of his life 700 years later. does flirt. does give excellent (maybe) life advice. does love food. does not tolerate brats much. if he can satisfy anything your characters are needing, let me know!

the second is ramayan, sufferslong who is a djinn currently bound to shane o'connor (mindwreck). to ram, this means loads of strife. to everyone else, it just means he can't actually leave mercy cove unless shane does. so he's stuck here! and you can only try and murder your witch so many times before it becomes a little boring. he's prone to roaming the town at all hours to seek out entertainment and trouble that is not shane-shaped. pretty vain, still not quite into human social mores and just might suggest murder as a solution to your problems, apparently terrible at being able to tell who is dangerous and who is not. has an aversion to fire-based creatures and magics, but is super duper interested in everything else. if a very curious, sometimes murderous djinni asking 100 questions about your char is something you'd be into, let me know!

Hello everyone! Ali here (again... last time though, I promise! Since I'm back at cap) with another newcomer to MC. This is Dianna Amastacia, Gil's younger sister who has travelled to find him and ostensibly bring him home, though it isn't going to go quite as well as she would hope!

She's a wood elf, and a carpenter by trade and has, through trial and error, learned how to enchant small wooden objects that she makes with various traits and tricks. Since she's more clueless about how the human world works than Gil is, she'll be setting up at the market when she gets herself acquainted and will run a perma-stall there selling things that she's made and will...work out where she's going to stay. Probably at the B&B until she can afford somewhere to rent. We'll work that bit out. *waves hands*

Anyway, I'd love to plot with her for things as she gets acquainted with this world and all it's wonderfully confusing things. As always, my others are open too!

I bring you a new character, Briar Cole-Dixon. She's an alpha and part of the Redwood Pack, she's 35 and is an editor for a publishing house and is a former professional Domme, which she still does on the side when she's travelling to SF for work.

MJ here with a character concept I’m really excited about and was inspired by this music video

This is Ethan Wang (formerly known as Weiyuan Chen) who is 520 years and doesn’t look a day over 25, but there’s a very good reason for it. He’s not a Strigele, but rather a cursed human when he ran afoul of a Fae, a former lover. One he wronged and hooo boy has he paid for it over the last 500+ years >.> His soul was captured and manifested into a painting (not too dissimilar from Dorian Gray) however for Ethan he has a very complicated relationship with the painting, so complicated in fact that every 7 years he’s forced to look at it and feels every single moment of his extended life which includes the injuries/illnesses that had previously transferred. It's both a physical and psychic experience.

He’s the CEO of his family business which is called HK Spun Silk and will be arriving in Mercy Cove on the heels of the Fae in question.

Hi all!

New player here, starting to round up the end of his application and I was curious if I could rustle up some connections for him if he gets in. 31, Human, Mercy Cove native as his family's been here for decades, owns a barber shop that his grandfather owned before him. Hoping to find some friendly faces he maybe went to high school with or know his family or are his family by marriage? Customers even? An ex potentially (any).

Also a weird one, but before I create her out of thin air, if there's a single mom in game looking for a baby daddy? I'm thinking he had a kid with somebody in a one night stand situation and while there's no hope for them to be together, they share 75/25 custody (her/him). The child is around 2 ish?

Adding More ideas: his tattoo artists, neighbours (is there a condo situation with other characters he could be living in), scuba diving/snorkelling buddies, and potentially some volunteer opportunities he attends?

Bri here is a half-Fae Water Elemental Witch. She co-owns The Firebird with her mom Alyona (an npc/Fire Elemental Witch), which is an upscale/fancy Russian themed restaurant located in Mercy Harbor. You can read more about her (if you want to) right here.

She's a lifer of Mercy Cove, so she could know plenty of people. She was only away during her college years and even then she came back to town every chance she got.

3 established connections she has are her best friend since the cradle (and current roomie) Amelia (~wickedtruth), her paternal cousin Gil (~amastacia), and her first girlfriend from freshman year of high school turned friend Harper (~harperfarrow).

Open to making solid connections or tossing her randomly in scenes.

This is Dante Messina who moved to Mercy Cove when he was 4 with the rest of his family and up until he was 20 he was a well known face of the local community before travelling for 5 years. About 2 years ago he came back to help look after his ageing parents/grandparents and is working alongside Felix at The Stemmery.

Oh, he's also 100% human, with literally no idea about the supernatural.

So I know he's talked to a bunch of people in his logs post, but I still need to introduce him! This is Isaac, and he's a Strigele who is originally from Scotland. He's been in the US for about a century now, and has been in Mercy Cove for about the last decade, after having moved from New York to California in the 1930's.

I'm open for pretty much everything with him. He will definitely need shoppers for his jewelry business, and friends are always welcome. Not much is off the table with him, and I'm looking forward to having fun with you all with this one (as I do with all of them hah).

She's 24, a bitten wolf (begrudgingly), and still working through that fact given that in the years that followed her turning she was basically locked up. She'll be working as a bouncer at The Abyss and she's prickly but I'm hoping to find her friends/connections/other wolves who can show her that not every wolf is like the one that turned her.

Hey peeps! It's Pickler with my third (and in theory final, but just kidding not really) character.

So, this is Brianna Gibbs - though she goes by "Bri" to most. She is a Water Elemental Witch who is half-Fae (hello small horns hidden beneath the hair). She's essentially a Mercy Cove lifer (minus her time away at College) that is 25 - soon to be 26 (on March 14th). She is the mama of a female Red Toy Poodle named Chucky.

Her father is a Fae, her mother is a Fire Elemental Witch. I'd love to find potential family on both ends of that. (and yes... I plan to eventually piece together some family trees. 😅)

Presently she is best friends with Amelia (wickedtruth) since the cradle, and "bark park buddies" with Nico (tourjete) - who is also her current favorite ballerina. She is the co-owner of The Firebird, a fine Russian dining restaurant located in Salters Point that's been there since 1994 when her mother (a Russian immigrant) established it. Though she is looking into starting up a second business of her own.

Open to finding potential staff, life long friends (or even people she'd know from around town), maybe an ex-girlfriend or two (sorry fellas, she's just not into what you got), neighbors (she shares a house in Rosewood with Amelia), fellow horror movie nerds, and whatever else we can think of - but also, bring on the random organic throw togethers too!

Hi friends I'm Amy and after some enabling I have brought in two characters.

The first is Valiant Thomas - He prefers Vale. He's a werewolf and a member of the Redwood Pack. I apologize for how extra his bio is if you choose to read it (I have a habit of writing intense bios). The CliffsNotes version of Vale is that he was born on a farm in 1920s rural PA and then went off to war when it was expected of him. He was bitten in the 1960s and it took time to come to terms with it/join a pack. He has no idea who bit him and honestly couldn't care less. In his eyes he's too old to care. He's been with the Redwood pack since the 1980s and hasn't looked back. He still has that very down-to-earth attitude and doesn't like idle hands or being bored. Probably why he's a carpenter. There's always something you can do with woodworking from hobby turning to furniture making.

The second is Katharyn Baudelaire or Kate - untildeath. She's a Strigele in the House of Vasiliev and was turned by Vasilii himself although she is unaware of this fact. As with Vale I apologize now for the intense info in her bio. Her CliffsNotes version is that she was born to a French officer and his wife in Trois-Rivières, Québec and eventually moved to the newly formed NOLA. From there various liaisons had her in the Spanish held areas of Canada in Vasiliev territory. It was there she was turned by 'Alaric' who failed to mention many things before she left him. Kate has some strong loathing for 'Alaric' despite their connection. She is the Martinet for House of Vasiliev so if you break house law you get to deal with her and Kate for all her faults, does love her work.

I am usually around on discord Amy#3465 (I sit on invisible so I never look like I'm around but I probably am!) or you can comment to their ooc posts in their journals. I am open to anything and everything with them so hit me up and we can plot!

Dutch here bringing in a Meyers, Leo Meyers to be exact, he's Frankie's ever so slightly adopted brother but at this point they're just family.

He like Frankie was born and raised in New Orleans until the age of 16 at which point the family came on over to Mercy Cove where Leo did his best to be the kid their folks didn't have to worry bout, threw himself into sports, and eventually turned his passion for fitness into a career so if you take a class over at the gym then you'll definitely run into him.

About 5 years ago he would have completely vanished and that's because he was turned into a Strigele so has spent those years coming to terms and learning control while over in Mexico. Now he's in a good place and coming home.

Looking for anything and everything be it friends, exes, clients, other Strigele he can get to know etc.

Hi everyone! This is Ang with my second character (hopefully).

Iolana is originally from Hawaii and is a shifter (mountain lion). She's a born shifter, presents as Beta, and is a third grade teacher. She has a 6 year old daughter named Kalea who was an accidental pregnancy. Her father is Abelino and he never knew that Iolana became pregnant from their hookups. She ran back to Hawaii when she found out that she was having a child, and recently returned to Mercy Cove when she was applying for teaching jobs.

I'm up for anything with her! Friends, parents of her students, flings, etc. Lay it on me! <3

Tori again. After a shockingly little amount of enabling on a certain person's part (😝), I have decided for the moment to put Mandy on the back burner, and pick up Anders Rendall, or as he tends to be known nowadays, Vidar Andersen.

For those that know the truth (fellow Strigele Heads of House), Vidar/Anders is the Head of House Anderson. To everyone else though? Vidar is an eccentric but well-meaning Entrepreneur down from Alaska, checking in on his restaurant Dockside Catch.

When he isn’t checking out his restaurant, he can be found hiking through the forest, fishing, or drinking somewhere along the lines of Mercy Brewing Co. Despite his position, he tends to gravitate more naturally towards people he considers “salt of the earth”, so people who work manual jobs, people who live humble lives and unpretentious people. He cannot stand self-importance or pretentiousness of any variety.

My name is Jen and this would be my first dive into the RP world outside of Harry Potter. I am bringing in Evan Rosier (somehow I couldn't leave HP behind), a 36-year-old Criminal Lawyer who is as green to this world as myself. So, bear with the two of us... He is a 36 year old criminal lawyer from Massachusetts, who recently moved to Mercy Cove only to notice the lack of legal representation available in town and decided to take advantage utilize the opportunity and offer his expertise and services to those who need it. Very much human and very much unaware of the alternate world that literally surrounds him, he is living blissfully in the dark about it all. Though, for how long, that depends on how things play out in game...

Evan's bio is here, but a few points that might be worth mentioning just to get a better sense of who he is...

- Grew up in Salem, MA from a wealthy down in Florida.
- His father was once a top lawyer in the state of Florida but was caught paying off judges and other legal personnel for case wins before he was disbarred then sent to serve jail time.
- Unlike his father, Evan prides himself on his education, talents, and skill for the law, so much so, he could be considered a workaholic.
- He's not a bad guy, however, he can come off as arrogant and a bit of an asshole.
- Loves hockey. He used to play. And considering he's from Massachusetts, he's all about the Bruins and the Bean Pot hockey tournament.
- He's single, in case the ladies in town were wondering, just saying. But it doesn't bother him if the women he's interested in are single or not...

He is a regular guy living a regular life. A bit of an anomaly around here, but that's all part of the fun! I am excited to be here and would love to work out connections and lines with anyone and everyone for whatever and anything in between!

Enablers Rae here. Bringing in this guy, Nico. He’s a mercy Cove native who is human but is aware of the supernatural community because of his best friend, Hadley, who is a shifter. He’s a good guy, would give you the shirt off his back. A bit goofy at times but only in his downtime. When it comes to work, he’s married to the ballet.

He’s 31 so I am sure there are people around that he went to school with. Anyone who frequents the ballet would notice him. When not rehearsing or performing he can be found hiking, going to the slopes for snowboarding, going to NA meetings with Hadley or enjoying his cheat day with all the bad foods.

I'm Riv and I have to concepts that I want to bring in for March. Before I finalize their applications, I thought I'd post some quick ideas and maybe I can fill some lines?

This one, Sawyer, is at this journal here. Her family owns a nursery and she's made a life for herself avoiding dating and generally trying to remain the eligible bachelorette who can drink you under the table and resurrect all of your plants. She's 35, went to UCLA, likes to drink a lot of coffee and has a tendency to collect people and things that need some extra love.

The other one, a human, is completely up for grabs. She's going to be early 20s and completely unaware of the magic in town. It would be cool if, gradually, she was made aware of it but not for a while.



I guess I don't know what I'm asking for, but I am so excited to bring them in and look forward to writing with all of you!

Hiii, it's Cat again! I bring you Elijah (Eli) Wailani, a guy who would never call himself a hot librarian, but it's Keanu Reeves and I'm a dork, so here we are. He's a 42 year old, full-fledged human from Texas, who has no idea supernatural stuff exists. I'm still making sure I have everything set up before I apply him.

He got divorced over the summer, and he's still pretty tender. He just moved to Mercy Cove a few weeks ago, where his ex-wife's adopted great-aunt left her a dilapidated house, that he was awarded in the divorce. The great-aunt was a secret (to her family) witch, and a recluse. A week or so into being here, Eli decided he'd better get a job while he's here, because he has the feeling the renovations are going to get more and more expensive. Hence, he's the public librarian.

He doesn't really know anyone yet, but he's friendly enough! I'm gonna set up a Tinder for him and he's kind of restricting his play time to men, because he's more wounded from his divorce than he'd like to admit. He's also kind of a late bloomer, because he didn't have a lot of experience before he met his wife in 2002. That doesn't mean he can't be friends with ladies, though! He's very likely to recruit help for the reno of the house, so maybe people who have jobs in that area, or sell stuff that'd help him out could be people he's met so far? Of course, anyone who's been to the library and met him there, although they might not have talked much lol. He's also a smoker, so something that could be kind of funny is meeting someone while they're both on a smoke break or something. Also! I'm open to him being turned into a Strigele or werewolf, I'd just like for there to be a bit of a background to it, rather than just something random happening.

Hello lovelies. Rae here with Vasilii, head of the House of Vasiliev. There are three people total in game so far (Sebastian, Rose and Arden) that would know his face. And they would be wise to keep that information to themselves. He will be known as Alaric Gentry around town, just a striegle passing by, drawn in like everyone else seems to be. Of course he would have made arrangements in advance and had Sebastian prepare his lodging that is used whenever he comes to town.

He can seem a little intimidating, which amuses him. As most things amuse him these days. 'Alaric' will be out and about in town, taking it all in for himself. No offense Seb, but your reports only go so far. Sometimes a more hands on approach is just better. Throw people at him, he enjoys blood bags of all flavors. But try not to take it too personally when he bores of people quickly. Takes a little more these days to hold his interest.

Also bringing in toothandclaw Zeke, who is a werewolf and the first lieutenant of the redwood pack. He's a mechanic, a bit rough around the edges. Tends to grunt more than use his words. Refuses to potty train the new pups.
