There are many people bustling about the Inn, as holiday seasons are among them. Even if the worlds they come from aren't celebrating the season just yet, most of them have gotten into the spirit pretty easily!

Amongst a few is one Time Lord in a pinstriped suit. He's discovered a few interesting books from the library in the place and is curled up upon the floor in front of a fire, reading one of them with great interest. His expressions change drastically as he reads. He's always been fond of Earth fiction, he has! And the holidays put him in a very delighted mood.

Not too far from him is one Ty Reynolds who is helping a young girl, Kitty Pryde with a few more Christmas decorations. He looks a little worse for wear (pale, thin, obviously sick with something) but he's still smiling and cheerful and... well, he loves the holidays. He loves when it snows, because, being a weather man, the snow is always the hardest to predict. Kitty, on the other hand, looks well in health, occasionally passing through walls to use them to hang a few strings of lights here and there.

They're both open for help or plain conversation.

And, if anyone is in the mood for a good cup of hot cocoa, a fresh-out-of-Hogwarts Remus Lupin is settled in the kitchen, making some the 'muggle way'. He might, occasionally, use his wand to help him gather a few ingredients, but he's rather content without it for now. There might be some music charmed to play as he works, and he is in fairly good spirits. Who says werewolves can't enjoy the holidays?

Outside, there are a couple of people roaming about. Peter Petrelli (who is still more than a little thrown off by the place around him) is taking in the cold air. He's not as jumpy as before, but he's getting used to thinks just appearing out of no where. Occasionally, he might slip in and out of appearance, almost as though he's growing invisible. He's too deep in thought to notice.

And against the white of the snow, a blue Police Box stands still, a little girls head poking from the doors, watching the snow with great wonder. Sure, she's seen snow before, but it's always nice to see it again. She doesn't see snow enough. It isn't too long after that another TARDIS appears, a young male joining her, watching the snow in wonder. Romana's TARDIS has never seen snow before at all!

... And also roaming around in the snow, plotting the Inn's epic destruction is a small, salt shaker shaped alien. The Dalek is a little out of it's element but world domination in its chemistry and damn if it isn't going to try to conquer a new world for the lack of Dalek empire!

(OOC: ... Tag anyone anywhere. Even if they are not posted here period, go for it. I am always up for RPing pups that haven't been around in a while. I love them all very dearly. ^^ Go crazy and happy Inn!holidays!)

ALEX: A part of childhood you'll always remember, it is the summer of the soul in December...

December's arrived, and with December comes the holiday season. And much as the world outside of it is a bustle (well, worlds, and if they're at the same time of the year, but let's not split hairs), so is the Inn.

There is a giant tree up in the main room. It was provided with lights, but the rest of the decorations are spread out on several tables. Alanna Graham seems to be spear-heading the effort to decorate the tree at this point. Or maybe her determined cheerfulness scared everyone else away.

Also in the main room, Johnny Coffin's made himself comfortable at the piano. The melody might sound familiar, but the words are a little different than usual. He's not the best of singers, or players for that matter, but it's all in the spirit.

If you follow your nose, you'll find those delicious scents are coming from the kitchen. Svetlana Sergievsky has a counter laid out with all the makings for cookies and a batch in the oven. Across the kitchen, Yelena's making tea. Mother and daughter are both mostly silent, but it's a content silence.

In a room off the main room that may or may not have existed until today, there's a large TV playing classic Christmas cartoons -- currently, How the Grinch Stole Christmas -- and several comfortable-looking sofas and chairs. Adam Johnson is stretched out across one of the sofas, and you might think he was asleep if it wasn't for the occasional glance over to his daughter and the quiet singing along. On the floor in front of the TV, Michael Johnson is bouncing his year-old niece on his lap and finding the movie far more interesting than she is, in that way nostalgic late-teenagers have.

And in the spirit of the season, there's mistletoe hung over all the doorways and in several spots on the ceiling. Some may say an excess of mistletoe. April Cohen is leaning against the wall next to a ladder, observing her handiwork. Not that it was all her. James Potter (junior) and Christopher Johnson can be found looking rather satisfied by the mistletoe, too. That may be because of a little extra something added to some of them.... But that's the risk you run when wizards help you decorate.

Enjoy the atmopshere.

[OOC: Tag any of the above, tag in any of the above rooms, tag in any room not mentioned, tag each other, tag one of mine not mentioned... Basically a Christmasy free-for-all for indoor!Inn fun. (I have no idea when Nina plans on doing the outdoor one, but that's going to need a post all its own. XD) Slowtime is not only fine but expected and appreciated, on my end. So go nuts, dears. <3
And for an added bit of crack: Some of the mistletoe is enchanted. Basically, you get frozen under it until you kiss someone. It can hold up to two people at once, if those two refuse to kiss each other. The piece over the door into the Inn (or where it is when it exists) is enchanted and the piece over the bottom landing of the stairs are enchanted, and otherwise, feel free to get them caught under it wherever. ^^]

But you can do the job while you're in--Aaaah! I almost hit a squirrel!

So, in case someone has managed to miss all the holiday cheer inside, they'll find that the outside of the Inn seems to have just as much spirit.

Lights seem to be a little bit of everywhere, some properly hanging and some just strewn about. Oliver Morris seems to have taken it upon himself to try and decorate the outside, though he's doing a mediocre job of it at best. Still, it's the effort that counts. Plus y'know, there are lights and they are hanging, that's what matters.

He also might be humming a little tune here and there, feel free to join in if you'd like.

Standing quietly on the back porch is a new arrival to the Inn. Ross Jenkins is...well, more than a little unsure of what's going on. He just died y'see, and while figured that maybe the afterlife would be...something like this? He didn't quite expect it to be so very...snowy.

Not far from Ross is a certain version of the Tenth Doctor. Although, if anyone were to look at him closely, they'd realize he's not the proper Doctor at all but the one that came from his hand. Be's bouncing on his heels and grinning like an idiot, absolutely thrilled with all the Christmas cheer! Oh yes, and he's enjoying a milkshake. No, we never claimed that he was particularly bright and if he complains about the cold, anyone should feel free to smack him.

Not far from the back area, there's a lake, now frozen over and a certain Eighth Doctor is taking advantage of the situation and doing a bit of ice-skating. Oh, this is his season, it really is. He's missed the winder terribly and although he could have very well just gone off to some cold planet and gotten his fix there, something about the Inn in winter always made the season that much better.

There are a couple of TARDISes stumbling around as well, one walking around holding tightly to a light blue lolly and the other spinning as fast as she possibly can. Neither of them have had the pleasure of playing in the snow before, or even experiencing snow at all, so don't mind if they seem a little awe-struck by the whole thing.

There might be a few others romping around in the snow as well, among them Jezebel and Grover. Jeze is twirling as fast as she can while still clutching her camera tightly and grinning like a fool. She loved the winter and Sal loved it too and there were so many people, so many pictures to be taken, it was fantastic! Grover meanwhile, is rolling around in the snow, making a valiant attempt to figure out how it was those funny humans went about making snow angels.

He's...not having much luck.

(OOC: So ladies, we already know how this works. Tag anyone in the post, tag any PLACE in the post tag a place that I somehow forgot or y'know just...tag! We'll ignore the fact that I don't need to be starting this right now since I owe both of you tags but eh, we'll work around that later. I should also make journls for...a lot of people mentioned in this post. XD Plus a few of the others hat need to get thrown into comments. >> I'll get to that though. Eventually.)
